Outlook PST question
I have a User that has 4 outlook pst files. Other than moving the folders one at a time, is there any utility for combining them?
I couldn't find any out there, but I will keep searching.

Point taken. Unfortunately, other laptops are woefully inferior.* :D *Unless you're doing database work. I guess it depends on what kind of database work you're doing. It sure do. Suggesting someone buy a Mac without knowing what they need to do isn't safe anymore. It makes me sad. My dad gave up h...

POWERBOOK. I may have mentioned in the past that my dad is a big mac guy. Luckily for him, he points and his employer buys. Nonetheless, I must say...he goes through a lot of stuff that I think is unnecessary , but never even notices due to his religious Apple conviction. I appreciate and enjoy the...

I disagree ET. Guys like you, me, DiT and AP have the knowledge and presence of mind to run a virus scan on anything we find for free. Most users will succumb to greed and download. Next thing they know, they are hosting a warez site on their machine. Similarly, there are constant requests for speci...

Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - File and Settings Transfer Wizard. Run it on the new one to make a disk/program for the old one, install and then run it on the old one. Now restore it to the new one. You're welcome. Did that before I even posted. Wizard only allows you to save it on...

It looks like it will id anything that can be used to remotely access a computer. By that standard, it should have found remote desktop and glance and gotomypc and PCAn...

Timely F'n Reminder
Make sure that you have set up your Anti-Virus to: 1. Provide Real-time protection 2. Run a full system scan weekly. And backup anyway. Just returned from a client's site - It has cost him $1000 for me to remove all the corrupted all the crap, and restore the file system. Tomarrow, I go back for ano...

3. If you are running it while using the computer, you can limit the cpu utilization so you won't notice it, but of course that will make it run longer. Alternatively, you can make sure it runs when you aren't there and set it to use a high cpu utilization, but then it will be limited by your HD sp...

The laptop when sitting on the same desk as the desktop has no trouble with the signal and doesn't drop the connection. That's why I suspect the culprit is Netgear's product (works great with the Win 2000 laptop, lousy with the XP Pro) If they are next to eachother, then using anything other than a...

Another play/technology to look for is the Electric Companies. Your utility company already has your house wired, and this is a natural for them. However, the fiber optic wars are just starting. You're going to see the big boys - ATT, Time Warner and the baby bells go to war over broadband. But ET i...
