Re: The T1B reset game.
The tongue in cheek legend of 'tart "running" someone goes back to the TNW NFL forum. First I saw of it, anyway. Not sure about the 9:07 CST time thingy. Probably a chat room. 9:07 cst was started by poptart in a thread one saturday night here at T1B. He invited any and all to drop in and...

FTP Maker
I need a customizable FTP program for uploading files, but I don't trust the lackey we hired to NOT fuck things up somehow. I found FTP maker 1.5 and it seems to be the thing I want: a program you can customize to have a direct link to a web directory that is lackey proof. http://www.sharewareconnec...

Re: DVD Decoder software, sound and graphics cards
Actually what I'm looking to get right now is dvd decoder software. There are a bunch of brands out there, they're not expensive but I'm still trying to see which one would be best. Most are designed for WMP, but in the event I decide to use a different player, say VLC, I don't want to have to buy p...

Re: DVD Decoder software, sound and graphics cards
It's almost entirely family event digicam vids I want to edit down. I have a decent canon handheld camcorder, one year old. Maybe some add on audio, but no special enhancements. They do need to be web uploadable. Nothing special skill or quality wise, I just want to capture the present for the futur...

Re: DVD Decoder software, sound and graphics cards
It was the Pinnacle software that said I needed a DirectX 9 or higher Graphics card. I don't know if mine is or not, I do recall when I bought this box it was for business use, so the graphic card was stock, I didn't need to upgrade it for gaming or video. I'm just assuming it isn't sufficient, but ...

DVD Decoder software, sound and graphics cards
Bought a DVD recorder, and I need decoder software for it. Some of the manufacturers send only the unit now, no software, no cables, no paperwork at all. No big deal, I knew that when I bought it, but the price was very good. So now I'm shopping around for DVD decoder software. Any suggestions? I pl...

Edit.
Found a western digital link for the jumper settings, but I had to set up the 2nd drive vertically next to the first to make the connectors reach.
Not ideal, but it'll work.

Need a jumper settings link to set up my hard drives
I added a DVD burner to my PC, so I had to switch around my drive cables to accommodate it. Previously, I had my main C drive hooked up on a single IDE/ATA cable directly to the MB. Both it and the back up drive are western Digital. The C drive came stock with the Dell PC, I bought the secondary dri...

Is there a setting in IE that can stop downloaded .wav files from default opening in winamp? I already had him set the .wav file type to default to the program he wants, but these are downloaded .wav files only, and they auto open in winamp in IE. I know how to change these defaults in firefox, but ...
