I for one don't mind being called a Bugeater. I think it is part of the history of a great program. I see this being a great game. If we can tackle consistantly I think we win. Weather forcast like it is, makes me wish we were an option team again. I loved it when it was cold and windy. Makes it tou...

Not sure what to think about this game after that game in Stillwater. I guess it depends which Defense Cosgrove decides to play. I have been a little happier with the offensive play calling the last two weeks. Callahan seems to be mixing it up better than at the start of the season. I think it will ...

It was kinda funny watching this game with Mike tonight. He was saying the exact same things I was when Nebraska played USC. He was bitching about the play calling and not even trying to win along with stopping OU on first and second down then dropping into a prevent defense on third down and lettin...

You guys are idots if you think Texas dominated. I take nothing from them, but this was a great game. Mistakes by both teams led to the great game, Nebraska just made a couple more. This appeared to me to be 2 pretty evenly matched teams. The Texas d line controlled the line, but I think the Nebrask...

I believe it's interesting most everyone feels NU must pass the ball to open up the run game. I don't necessarliy disagree with that notion as UT does have a great d-line, most saying Mack Brown's best ever. But what I've seen from Callahan, in spite of the slow down game at USC, he'll probably bel...

Everyone is mostly talking about the USC game, so as long as I don't see that again I will live with him. It does drive me crazy that he goes into ultra conservative mode after getting a 14 point lead on anyone. He doesn't seem to understand that in college football you have to go for the kill. 14 p...

I prefer quality discussion to banter (sans RRR week and t+1) Nice to see some actual discussion. I am not about to say we are going to dominate this game. I know we will need some big plays and a couple of breaks to come out on top. I do think we have a shot. I agree that our shot is through the a...

I am getting really tired of trying to sit on a lead in the second half. Callahan thinks it is the NFL, where you get up by 14 and the game is over. I thought he would have learned something against Kansas, but apparently not. I have never seen a coach that was this scared to pass the ball. All he h...

Dub will never actually bail on his team. I have always been impressed that he can stick with his shitty team and find a bright spot to cheer for. We went to the bar last night and he was sporting his CU shirt and hat. He will never bail! He is one of the truest fans you will ever see. I kinda like ...

A couple of thoughts. Also, I was thinking back to when I watched many NU games when NU was a few years away from dominance in the early 90s. They'd struggle against the good teams. I don't know how many times I heard myself or others scream when it wasn't working, but Osborne stubbornly kept doing...

Pretty hard to say he realized this with 9 passes in the first half. He didn't give them a chance to pass protect. The only time we would drop back was on 3rd and 12 with an empty backfield. Everyone in the stadium knew a pass was coming. I think a PA Pass on first down at some point would have been...

I have never been so pissed at a football coach in my life as I was Saturday night. Me, along with about 25,000 Nebraska fans traveled to USC knowing we didn't have much of a chance of winning that game, but with that play calling we had ZERO chance. From what I saw it seemed we could have been in t...

FINALLY got them!!
I think it brought a tear to my eye when I got these in the mail. I will be at the Nebraska vs. USC game next week. They don't look like the greatest seats, but at least I will be in the house. Hope my Huskers at least put on a good showing. I am not expecting to win, but at least be competitive and...

that 1994 Colorado team had so much talent and went to Lincoln and bent over. it was 95 ( ithink) i remember sitting at a bar* in Boulder (with a Buff friend of mine) and on the 3rd or 4th play from scrimmage NU runs their base pitch play to the I back.....for an Ahman Green 70 yard TD. untouched. ...
