Re: top 25 college football stadiums
Also, to say that neither L.A. school has an on-campus stadium is sort of ridiculous. The Coliseum and Exposition Park including the Rose Garden are literally across the street from the USC campus. Superbowls, Olympic games, world class museums, soon even a space shuttle, the LA Coliseum, which is ...

Re: interesting take on non-conference schedules
I don't disagree at all. I've said many times I despise the shitty OOC games most SEC schools schedule. It doesn't take much to make the list of toughest OOC schedules, though, does it? Northwestern isn't a big deal at all. Decent game, but not something to brag about. USC is obviously huge. One of...

PSUFAN, your sticking point seems to be that Sandusky’s violations were legal, and not NCAA violations. So if say, Oklahoma has multiple instances of athletes beating people up, carrying guns, raping women, etc, that goes on year after year, that doesn’t represent LOIC? Bryant Gumbell made that poi...

Paul Dee (University of Miami) said that USC should have ran a tighter ship with more over sight like Miami did and because they did not, that was why he decided to punish USC so harshly The tight ship Dee was referring to had a booster of the school paying close to 100 players millions of dollars o...

I'll still need you to show me exactly what that has to do with the 2012 football program, or even with the current PSU administration. What did Reggie Bush's parents living rent free for 8 months in 2005 have to do with the end of the 2004 season and the bowl game 4 months before they moved in to ...

The day you start seeing spring HS football practice in NY is the day you'll start seeing NY in the top 5 recruits list. Re: So what does the future hold for PSU?
Depends on their coaching staff. Pennsylvania produces a lot of talent, if they can bring a coach in that can build a fence around the state and keep the best players in the state, then pick up a few out of staters here and there, they should be fine. They bring in a weak staff that allows other sch...

Nobody knows who is "clearly" the second best team. That's why you decide it on the field. Were the NY Giants clearly the best team heading into the playoffs last season? At least in the NFL you have everyone playing a similar schedule, 8 home and 8 road games and none of the teams are fa...

Here's a vote for the 4 highest rated conference champs. The reason OOC scheduling has been so dreadful throughout the BCS era is because of this premium/obsession placed on an undefeated record; which might actually make sense if balanced scheduling existed, but it doesn't. And as a result, we somehow got to a point where it's considered "better&qu...

I also realize that USC will be limited to 18 players that they can take in this years class (3 must be EE's) but the Trojans are well on their way to having the athletic programs fully endowed which would mean that they could take as many players as they want, just give them grants instead of the ...

The video may not have shown any of the personal fouls, but Miami set a record for them. Their first drive of the game was 1st and 40 after two back to back dead ball fouls by different players. Of course you would like that game. That is the game that the NCAA used film from for years as to what taunting, personal fouls, spearing, and unsportsmanlike conduct were. The NCAA is trying to cover their tracks and likely had him snuffed.
