1. Second and 5 on Team A’s 30-yard line. A1 takes the handoff and fumbles as he reaches the line of
scrimmage. With the ball in flight at the 35-yard line, A2 bats it forward, where it goes out of bounds at A’s
37-yard line. (9-7-2)
a. Illegal batting. 2 and 15 from Team A’s 20-yard line.
b. Illegal batting. 3 and 10 from Team A’s 25-yard line.

Been a while---I retired from high school football down here in 2009. Did 32 years in CNY and 8 here.
Never aced a test--- we had to take 3--- a Part 1 rules, Part 2 Rules, and a Mechanics test. I did well enough to achieve "active status" and did many playoff and intersectional games. 25 in the Syracuse Carrier Dome.

This appears to be a NFHS rules test. I have no clue about NFHS rules. High School football in Texas is played under NCAA rules.

One of the questions mentions first touching which is NHFS crap. I do know that there is some strange ass rules in NFHS. For example if a defender jumps into the neutral zone but the offense doesn’t move and the defender gets back on his side of the ball this is a dead ball foul against the defense. They also have a pass interference penalty even if there is no contact made but the defender shields the receivers eyes. Both are idiotic to me.
