The Big Pickle/Holly Golightly is IP banned.
I'm at the PET bail office trying to negotiate TBP's release, but raising the collateral quickly isn't looking too good.
It's all good, though. Have a good weekend, Screwy.
You do realize Braveheart is to historical accuracy like TVO is to slam dunk championships? Some moron wrote:But we the people will fight them like William Wallace fought Longshanks and tyranny in braveheart.
Of course. Dramatic license is always taken by directors in movies.
Oh really Mr. Fat Roger Ebert?BSmack wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2019 4:24 am Braveheart goes way beyond dramatic license. Would it have been too much to have a bridge during the Battle of Stirling Bridge? Never mind the fact that nobody was painting their face or wearing Kilts when Wallace was alive. Gibson couldn't even get shot continuity together. There's scenes where he has a sword, then no sword and then suddenly there's a sword on his hip again. It is literally the most fucked-up movie this side of the Patriot.
It's hard to tell who you're more gay for, Elvis or Mel Gibson. They're both insufferable and self absorbed, it's just one's dead and the other is insane.EAP wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2019 4:31 amOh really Mr. Fat Roger Ebert?
Bet you can't say anything negative about "the Passion of the Christ"?
Go head? I dare ya.
The passion isn't a movie.
It's an experience.
As if a portal opened up and transported you back 2000 years to witness the actual events as they happened.
THAT is the best praise that ANY director can possibly get.
Go head, make my day.

That said, "The Last Temptation" is a far, far superior movie about the subject. It had a better cast and a superior director in Martin Scorsese.
Your whole "portal" take sounds like the one that opened up for you was the one you sit on, just ready for that Elvis/Mel fantasy porn.
Seriously, you know nothing about cinema.
Pointing out the obvious that he makes great movies that people enjoy seeing.
Mel Gibson has directed just five films. They are:EAP wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2019 3:42 pmBuwahahaha!
Every director makes a real piece of shit from time to time.
Marty's shit for the ages was "last temptation". I remember people laughing at Willem dafoe and his NY accent. In fact, the acting and screenplay were so awful, people walked out.
A lot of jew faggott film critics loved and praised the film, due in part to their own mental instability.
These same leftist vermin bashed Mel's "the passion" .
These mentally unstable leftists let their political agenda corrupt their jobs as honest film critics.
Years later, it's embarrassing to see what a joke Marty's film was,
And the corrupt unstable weird left wingers who tried in vain to protect his huge pile of shit that bombed.
Years later, it's funny to see a left winger like you defending a turd like "last temptation".
But very revealing nonetheless.
You've always worn your stupidity on your sleeve.
Bet you say "happy holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas", on account of your sheep like politically correct cowardice.
Buwahahaha.
Mel pissed off the Jews, and we're not supposed to like him anymore.
Thanks IB. Your voice of reason is as comforting as Julie Newmar's purr in the batman tv series.Innocent Bystander wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2019 9:12 pmMel pissed off the Jews, and we're not supposed to like him anymore.
Roman Polanski and Woody Allen fuck children, but their art is to be separated from their private flaws.
If Mel had just been a good little goy, ...
I'll edit most of your response, as it is hyperbolic, over-emotional drivel. My goodness you cry like a bitch.EAP wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2019 9:27 pmAny real honest critic worth their salt today, has since called "the passion" a masterpiece.
A true work of art.
It's a benchmark in cinema.
In fact, to even bring up Marty's shitty "last temptation" in the same sentence as "the passion".
Is proof positive that you either have a low IQ, or are mentally unstable.
I own a collection of films that totals over 1000.
I've forgotten more about classic films than you'll ever dream of knowing.
So next time? Shovel your bullshit elsewhere.

Jay prefers The Last Temptation of Christ.
Both are controversial, and had their directors reamed out by certain segments of angry critics and Christians for 'going too far'. Why can't we have both?

I never said "Passion" wasn't a classic. It is. Scorcese is a better film maker and it is a superior movie on the subject of Christ. Gibson made a snuff film, albeit a very pretty one...I guess. Scorcese made a more challenging film. That's why critics and fans alike consider it a better movie. You have a genius director vs a crazy one, who is a good actor and director, but certifiably nuts. You have Jim Caviezel vs Willem Dafoe. Caviezel is a very good actor, but Dafoe is better, with 4 Oscars under his belt.
That is not bullshiit, that is fact.
So you knock a majority of Hollywood, yet you own 1000 movies, which I'm sure is horse shit. But saying you do, that is a shit ton of money you have given to the same Hollywood you mock. And you call ME stupid. Pot meet kettle.
I'll state this again...I have worked as a cinematographer and sound tech on professional films. My uncle was an editor in Hollywood for decades and he got me into the business. So give me your crap about "forgetting more than I can dream of" garbage.
Seriously, go fuck yourself you arrogant little trolling faggot.
IB? How did you make that leap? Stating that Martin Scorsese is a great director is by no means stating a religious affiliation.
