Who would you like to see replace Peart?
I think Lerxst and Dirk have a little left in the tank.
It is understandable that they didn't tour while Pratt was battling cancer.
Does anyone think that maybe now that that's over, they might get back out there as Rush?
If they do, who should sit behind them?
Would love to see Steve Gadd do it, although he's even older than they are. It would just be interesting to see someone who is the absolute master of groove, take over for someone who's primary knock was lack of groove.
I think Dana Carvey would be great. Marco Minneman even better.
Steve Smith would be another. Peart was a fan of his and Steve is a fukking monster drummer.

Just went and looked at a few Steve Smith solos.
Yeah, he's my pick.
He has Neils chops with a musicality that Neil could only dream of having.

Who would write for them? They lost their lyricist too. Or would it be better if they just played instrumentals?

I would love to see what Marco would do with La Villa Strangiato.
BTW, LVS is the best fukking rock instrumental ever produced.

Phibes, do your countrymen know about your disdain for Rush?
I am pretty certain that Rush blasphemy is a class A felony in Canuckada.
It will get you a beatin', minimum.
