Well for certain private business could not fuck it up as bad as your beloved government has. At least with private business there would be a profit incentive, might have to put up with some shenanigans now and then, but what the fuck....the government could get their cut.

But you would then have all the Federal leech pig employees you would have to deal with, since there are tens of thousands of them feeding at the SS trough.

SS is a hydra headed monster that will never change until it implodes.

When can I opt out? Stop taking the money from my pocket and I will relinquish all future claims.

Problem with that is the idiots in Washington have a spending problem and they need my money to pay Wolfman for all the money he put in plus the promises that went along with it. If this weren't government, it would be shut down as a ponzi scheme.

THIS is the reason capitalism works and socialism fails.

When you know that you’ll be rewarded for your efforts, you’ll put forth more effort. When you think the gubmint will provide a non-dirt floor, there’s a good chance you’ll end up with possibly something more than dirt, but not much.
