Number of American's killed by COVID 19 per day?

Nope. Haven't cracked a thousand on its best day.

It is the number of smoking related deaths, per day.

And I can still get in my car (another dangerous activity) and drive to the local kwikky mart and buy a pack.

Why?

The gubmint needs to do something, dammit!!!!! We don't have enough ventilators!!!!!

Oh wait, that's right, we do. We still have the best equipped medical system ever put together. It is a simple matter of shuffling existing resources to where they are needed. Despite what NY's dago governor says, people are not dying for want of a ventilator. Well, not here. Milan is a different story.

Here is the problem with ‘Rona death numbers. If a person tests positive for the ‘Rona and then dies, they are counted as a ‘Rona death. Never mind most of these people are also testing positive for the flu and have underlying health conditions.

Is ‘Rona or the congestive heart failure the real reason they passed? Let’s not look, let’s just mark down another Corona death and move on eh?

I am still waiting to see one simple stat that I haven't found yet and that is number of non-accident deaths over this period. How does it stack up against other years.
