Screwy has stood vigilant against money being given to corporations to prevent them from failing while ignoring citizens, allowing citizens to fail. I agree with Kierland and Screwy. But I also believe this money is fake money, and the people who control the value of that fakeness will do what it takes to keep the curtain from being drawn on their exotic accounting methods.

However, in our system, the entire spectrum, from top to bottom gets help.
Those making very little, will be getting two 1200 dollar checks.
Plus another 500 per child.
The business owners and larger corporations are also getting help, to ensure that millions will be able to go directly back to work.
It all works together in order to save the entire economy from total disaster.

There shouldn’t be any estate tax as all of the estate has already been taxed.

It certainly is from rich to poor. The poor in this country don’t pay much income taxes if they pay anything at all. Hence any money they are getting is a wealth transfer.

The top 1% pays almost 38.5% of the tax burden. The top 10% pay about 70% of the tax burden. The bottom 50% pays about 3% of the tax burden.

So it is either a wealth transfer to the poor or the rich paying the rich.
