The next Carlos Beltran

Anybody been watching Shane Costa?

I'll say this for the Royals...they damn sure know how to groom some potential superstars...not that they can keep them or anything.

I'll enjoy watching Costa the next few years before he moves on to the big money.

Quite possibly.

When I look at the dude's face, I see Beltran.

The bat speed doesn't suck much either.

I don't really think Carlos Beltran is Carlos Beltran. The guy showed up for a playoff series, went apeshit and settled back into a nice non All-Star career.

Costa did an impressive job of hustling on the basepaths tonight, but he's got a ways to go before he becomes the next big thing.

He's always got kcabdominaltrauma's purse-swinging to look forward to, though.

Because the POS franchise he came from taught him it's OK to mail it in, as long as you're making a buck.
