It's been raining here since Sunday.
We average about 12 inches of rain per year here. According to the Weather Service we've had more than 6 inches since Monday morning. About 3 1/2 inches in the last 24 hours. There hasn't been a break since yesterday morning.
Maybe God and gOD is trying to tell us something?

This little creek at the bottom of our street is dry about 360 days per year.

OK...I know it's not waist deep like you get in Houston and some of your flat places around the Midwest, but pretty impressive for around here.

Here's one of the main freeways this morning, going through Carlsbad, near my office.

Meh...most of it goes to the ocean. This storm is pretty much stuck over coastal SoCal.
What we need is more snow in the Sierra, but not really getting anything more than normal. My brother has a house in Tahoe City, and he's going up there for the weekend to get out of his house in Folsom (I guess he's got the Folsom Prison Blues...). Lots nice spring snow but all the skiing is shut down. Too bad.
We're supposed to have a sunny weekend. My yard actually loves this rain and will be in full of spring bloom in a few weeks.

Re: Fucking Biblical
The water in Houston doesn’t have sulfur in it. It isn’t bad tasting compared to many other places.
