Dude you linked to a PDF where people were talking about him in the very bullet point you mentioned. So yeah, whoever made that PDF misquoted him and if they believe you should be paid when you are “unwilling to work” I am not on board.
So you might want to look in the dementia-meds-English mirror.

Man. Not sure if it is you or your internet but that link goes to a pdf NPR put on their website. FDR isn’t mentioned.
Good to know you also don’t support welfare for those unwilling to work, unlike Screwy and his heroes. Too sad that he refuses to see the truth here.
But yeah you may want to get that dementia check, just saying.

Yeah built on. They probably added his name just to help some moderates swallow their crap.
It is their Green Deal and it wants to give welfare benefits to those unwilling to work. You already said you are against that.
This is mostly for Screwy because he thinks Team D doesn’t support such a measure.

FDR's 2nd bill of rights failed because it's an "oxymoron".Kierland wrote: ↑Fri Apr 17, 2020 5:21 pm Yeah not sure where that came from, but that is at best a gross misunderstanding of FDR’s speech or exactly what you portray it as. “Unwilling to work” is not what he said. What he said was: “The right to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident, and unemployment;” so yeah society should help but we are not dragging perfectly able people to the finish line. At least not those of us that believe in the Second Bill of Rights.
Kinda like Kierland is a moron.
It expands governments power over the people. And we all know that government continues to get larger and larger.
As a result, people's liberty gets smaller and smaller.
Anyone who follows politics and history, clearly sees this manifesting right before their very eyes.
It's the slow and steady march towards top down government control. Period.

Coronavirus creates a market of ‘haves and have-nots,’ with the Dow posting its best 2-week run in 82 years amid 22 million job losses
On Main St., the market for jobs has been decimated, with forced-shutdown protocols, meant to limit the spread of the pathogen, wiping out nearly all of the 23 million jobs created in the aftermath of the 2007-09 recession, in a manner of four, incredibly short weeks.
The disconnect between the two is palpable.
“It took ten years of job growth to pull these workers off the sidelines; now they will be thrown back into the shadow pool,” wrote Bob Schwartz, senior economist at Oxford Economics, in a Friday research report...

The fact that you don't understand what's happening.
If the market was crashing right now? I'd be fucking worried as shit.
But this was my prediction. I told you that by summer, millions will go directly back to their jobs as every sector opens back up.
Disney, cruise lines, hotels, restaurants, bars, clubs, retailers, dentists, hair salons, etc.....
The fact that the markets are doing great, indicates that by summer, my take was SPOT ON.
The stimulus package for small businesses, part one and now the upcoming part two, coupled with the workers stimulus checks, set the stage for all this to happen.
What I can't understand for the life of me, is how you didn't see any of this coming?
You were 100% invested on DOOM and complete disaster.
Maybe I jumped the gun here?
We still have a couple more months till summer? You still clinging to DOOM?
AT what point will you tip your cap to me?
If by the start of the NFL season, things are still the same as now.
I will tip my cap to you.
Are you ready for some football?

Federal Reserve QE Buys Hit Record To Stem Coronavirus Stock Market Crash
Federal Reserve quantitative easing has quickly ramped up to a record pace to steady the plunging Dow Jones Industrial Average and surging long-term Treasury yields. By week's end, asset purchases meant to stem the coronavirus stock market crash will exceed the pace seen during the financial crisis.
This week's Fed quantitiative easing purchases will amount to $317 billion, which is slightly faster than the Fed balance sheet grew at the height of the financial crisis.
Even with the slower start, the first week of Fed QE is on pace to see $275 billion worth of Treasury purchases. That's more than half of the $500 billion in Treasuries the Fed committed to buy "over coming months" in its Sunday announcement.
But the $500 billion was a floor, and Federal Reserve chief Jerome Powell made it clear that there was no ceiling. The Fed also said on Sunday that it will buy "at least $200 billion" in government-backed mortgage securities.
"We're going to go in strong," Powell said in a Sunday evening news conference. The amount of purchases "is open-ended, and it's meant to send a signal to the market" that the Fed will succeed in its goal to "restore market functioning."

A Darwin Award winner...
John W. McDaniel, from Marion County in Ohio, was diagnosed with the virus in late March, and died in hospital on April 15.
The 60-year-old man had allegedly posted several times on Facebook regarding the coronavirus, and the posts have been circulated widely on social media.
On March 15, he seemingly commented on Ohio governor Mike DeWine's stay-at home order, which required shops, bars and restaurants to close.
"If what I'm hearing is true, that DeWine has ordered all bars and restaurants to be closed, I say bulls***!," the post reads.
"He doesn't have that authority. If you are paranoid about getting sick just don't go out. It shouldn't keep those of us from living our lives."

He died doing what he loved.
Being an idiot.
I approve of Mr. McDaniel's actions
