The governor of Michigan spoke treason?

The governor of Michigan spoke treason?
on NBC's fake left wing propaganda show, "meet the press", the governor of Michigan said that it's Un- American to go against a tyrannical Government
And left wing socialist chuck todd, never corrected her treasonous words.
What the fuck is going on here?
The very foundation of liberty, calls for bringing down a government that is tyrannical.
Is this governor part of the new crop of left wing government control socialists?

Re: The governor of Michigan spoke treason?
LOL. Yeah I found it there too. I was waiting to see if he’d post that as his source and argue it’s legitimacy. Wouldn’t be beyond the pale.

"The people cannot fight a tyrannical government, NOR do they have the right to".
end quote.
Isn't that treasonous?
Re: The governor of Michigan spoke treason?
Nice backpedal.
This wasn't about Beto, was it?
And BTW, you seriously need to look up the meaning of treason because you apparently have it backwards.

Re: The governor of Michigan spoke treason?
When you are a public servant.
A member of congress the senate, etc....and you violate our liberty and bill of rights, that's treasonous.
Is that pretty clear?
So when Beto O'Rourke says that we the people don't have the right to fight a tyrannical government?
That's not only treasonous, but it's fascist to say that.
And that's why you see left wing nutjobs like Beto O'Rourke attacking our liberty and bill of rights. He's a government control socialist/fascist.
He calls our bill of rights, the bill of wrongs.

Dumbass.
A democratically elected government cannot, but definition, be a "tyrannical" government. Even if you don't like it.
Also, by definition, the act of trying to overthrow it would be treasonous.

NOT GOVERNMENT.
TYRANNICAL GOVERNMENT.
There's a HUGE difference between the two.
If a tyrannical government started violating our constitutional rights. That's treasonous.
By definition, treason is the act of betraying one's country.
So if a tyrannical government starts violating the constitutional rights of it's own citizens, then by definition, they are betraying their own country.
What don't you understand about this?

YES, a democratically elected government CAN become tyrannical and betray it's own country by violating the constitutional rights of it's citizens.
ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID?
Your last post, claiming that a democratically elected government, cannot ever become treasonous, IS the single DUMBEST thing ANYONE has EVER SAID ON THIS BOARD!
It's slowly been progressing in that direction RIGHT before your very eyes, and you're either too stupid or too brainwashed to notice.
The whole point of electing a government democratically, is to ENSURE that they follow our constitutionally protected rights and liberty.
HOWEVER, should they become tyrannical, by violating our liberty and bill of rights, THAT'S betraying one's own country, which by definition, is TREASON!
ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID?

So in other words yes Schmick.
It would seem though that the supporters of prop 187 could use the judge’s words on finding prop 187 unconstitutional, to also end many of California’s current practices.

California is powerless to enact its own legislative scheme to regulate immigration. It is likewise powerless to enact its own legislative scheme to regulate alien access to public benefits

To some folks, if you don't like the results of democracy, it's treason.

Re: The governor of Michigan spoke treason?
What I don't understand is why citizens put up with their elected officials invalidating their voice on propositions? It generally isn't a good move for elected officials to go against the "will of the people" who voted for a proposition. But, more power to them, if the citizens just let them get away with it.

Re: The governor of Michigan spoke treason?
Mostly because those propositions are unconstitutional. Like if the will of the people in CA was to own slaves. Granted the cases are not that cut and dry, but valid analogy none the less.

Re: The governor of Michigan spoke treason?
According to whom?
YOU DON'T GET TO MAKE THAT CALL.
We have courts for that.
Do you understand?
If you don't like the system, feel free to leave. You won't be missed.
Re: The governor of Michigan spoke treason?
Guess what?
There's a huge difference between the 9th circuit "kangaroo" court, and the Supreme Court.
Meaning for years now, the 9th circuit was overturned 87% of the time by the high court.
WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT TELL YOU GENIUS?
It means that LEFT WING JUDGES are a CLEAR THREAT to our liberty and bill of rights.
You follow?
They openly admit it.
Ruth bader Ginsburg openly admitted her disdain for our constitution, some years back.
She said that she'd put several other country's constitutions ahead of ours. Direct quote.
That's treasonous.
I view our founding principles and documents as SACROSANCT!
DO YOU?
If you don't?
YOU have a serious problem.
Not me.
You leave.
Guess what? If the people don't like the 1st, 2nd 3rd, ammendments?
There's a process to make changes.
NOT JUDGES.
They don't get to legislate from the bench. It's not constitutional.
It just so happens that judges like Neal Gorsuch, are texturalists, they respect the actual words and meanings.
Left wing judges bypass the words and their meanings.
They basically bypass the letter of the law, and wind up making NEW LAWS. THAT'S NOT THEIR JOB.
According to the constitution, they are not allowed to legislate from the bench. That's the job of congress.
That's why the left wing 9th circuit has been overturned 87% of the time.
They have been going around the constitution for years, effectively doing the job the congress is charged to do.
Got it now?
If you don't like it? Pack your bags and leave. Go to mexico.
You'll love the lawlessness there.
Re: The governor of Michigan spoke treason?
The system is working?
You have a gross misunderstanding about our constitution.
The principles of liberty do not change.
But, what if the 9th circuit stayed far left, and then the Supreme Court was stocked with far left judges?
You would end up with a serious constitutional crisis on your hands. The likes of which have never been seen.
See , you seem to think that the constitutional rights can be overturned by leftist judges who really don't agree with them.
But that's unconstitutional.
Left wing judges don't get to tamper with and change our rights just because they want to.
But, if they get the majority, that's exactly what they will do.
There's a HUGE difference between left wing nutjob judges and center right judges.
The left wing judges have OPENLY EXPRESSED their disdain for our bill of rights.
Do you see the GIANT problem with this?
The constitution is sacrosanct.
If judges dislike it, that's VERY DANGEROUS to our liberty and rights.
The system isn't supposed to fuck with our core principles of liberty.
They can fuck with a lot of things. BUT NOT OUR CORE TRUTHS that we hold self evident.
Are we clear? You disconnected left wing fuck.
The system, as you call it, has a legislative branch for making new laws and changing existing laws. The judicial branch is NOT allowed to change existing law.
Are you clear on that? Their job is set.
The problem with left wing judges is that they've already openly spoken about their disdain for our bill of rights.
They aren't afraid to disrespect our constitutional rights, or violate them in fact.
That's the difference between a cocksucker like Bernie Sanders, and a Donald trump.
Sanders wants to trample all over our liberty and bill of rights.
Trump wants to protect and defend them.
And not just Bernie, but Beto, and Elizabeth Warren, and AOC, and etc....etc.....ALL left wing government control socialists.
I'm not saying this because I'm biased in any way shape or form, mind you.
I'm saying it because I hold the founding principles as sacrosanct.
And, judging by your posts?
You clearly do not.
