What plans were ruined due to Covid?

I was supposed to go to Amsterdam in April and Montreal last week for Formula 1 racing. Both cancelled obviously. I was in the middle of planning Germany, Switzerland, and Prague in December but that’s a no go. Decided to book a house in British Virgin Islands for a week in early December. It’s about the only safest thing to do sans the air travel.

This is the view from the house. Just me, a Jeep, my books, and plenty of sun block.

There isn't anything wrong with flying right now. Airlines are making people wear masks. They hand out hand sanitizer if you want it. Get out there and see the country.

Trip north at the end of April-early May. Big part was to see my younger grandson play a baseball game for his high school senior year. Now I'm hoping to get to see a college game. We can visit folks when the US/Canada border ever opens up for normal travel. Again, all this was so unnecessary.

My stepdaughter was going to rent a villa in Tuscany for two weeks in July to celebrate my wife’s 70th birthday and fly us there first class. That fell through.

We’re driving to Tahoe City for a week instead. My brother has a house there and we’re renting a place close by for us, our two kids and their significant others. Another ten members of my late sister’s family are going also.

Mrs TWIS and I head to Park City on 7/3 to visit friends that moved there a couple years ago. Plan on doing a lot of hiking with one trip to Capitol Reef National Park for a few days.

Was thinking of converting to Mormon whilst there, checking out the magic underwear and a couple more wives, but I heard the conversion centers are closed for the COVID.

My sister in law recently had a kid in May, and her husband is a nurse who had to straight up quit cause he didn’t wanna bring back anything while she was pregnant/after baby. Now he’s tryin to do DoorDash or Favor cause he doesn’t wanna risk it being at a hospital. It’s just a crappy time for everyone it seems.
