Classic Zyclone thread. PBUH.
Are the horses pets (loved and cherished), or investment vehicles (no attachment except to its paper value)?

Necker? Really? Really?
The jockey looks like a 3 year old about to fly off.
Will have to look up the investors. Just being in the Derby means more money from breeding, right? I can't tell the sex.

Some well conditioned horses. And the winner gets to spend the rest of his life fucking every mare brought to his door.

Only one filly has ever one the Derby. They rarely run the race. He's a colt.Innocent Bystander wrote: ↑Sat Sep 05, 2020 6:50 pm Necker? Really? Really?

As for the race: strong, first poll to wire win from the far gate for Authentic in a blistering 2:00.61. That is Monarchos territory. Wow.

So do you lose if you bet a horse to take a place, and it did but not the place you predicted? Or are you still able to collect something? (ie Straight versus Box)?
Do they dope the horses? or is everything pure?

So ... if we took Jsc's bet, Authentic won outright instead of being second, how much would we have won today?
Re: 2020 Kentucky Derby, call it!
If he bet on Authentic to place (2nd) he gets paid 6$ even if he would have come in second.
Or he could have bet to win or place and then he gets like 12$ I think since he won. Betting to win was worth 18.80.

So all we had to do was bet JSCs picks as-is, and 100 bucks would have netted $600?

The tiny tweaker is into animal sex.
Shocking.
Oregon man gets nearly 2 years in prison for sexually abusing horse
Likely his grandson.
That being said... his grandson might be a giraffe.

Re: 2020 Kentucky Derby, call it!
There's more to this story.
- What type of area is Hillsboro?
- Does the horse-owner's actions strike anyone else as 'here we go again'-ism? or nah? How bad has fence-jumping been in Hillsboro, or among that section of Oregon's farms, ranches and stables?
- People don't fuck horses on a whim. How long had he been doing this?
- He's homeless and comfortable asking for day-work and to sleep in stables. There is a neighbor and a former employer who don't just know of him but the employer can 'link him to the incident'.
How?
What isn't said here?
- 'Victims' plural - equine or human?
-ADD and Autism? Real diagnoses or fake cac doc diagnoses? The judge also ordered Duyck not to contact his victims and revoked Duyck's license for one year.
Duyck, who has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, was at one point ordered by a judge to obtain a mental health evaluation at the Oregon State Hospital, court records show.
According to a psychological evaluation report, the Hillsboro-area property owner told county deputies she found one of her horses tied up in a stall on April 19 different from the way she left the animal and later found semen on its genitals. She recalled someone who gave his last name as Duyck had called her the day before, asking if he could sleep on her property and she said no. She thought the incidents may been related.
A neighbor described a man who gave the same name asking for work earlier that day. A former employer linked Kenneth Duyck to the incidents, the report said.
Duyck was found sleeping in the stolen pickup on April 24. He admitted to a detective that he called the Hillsboro-area stable during the day and requested to sleep there. Despite being rejected, he went there anyway at night while out on a walk, the report said.
Duyck said he went to the stable, tied up a horse with a rope and planned to groom it, but instead claimed he ejaculated on the horse’s tail, according to the report.
Duyck said he hadn’t been taking his medication for more than a month at the time and “made a bad decision,” the report said.

Re: 2020 Kentucky Derby, call it!
No he would have lost 100 on his first place bet and 100 on his show bet and he spent 100 on the Authentic bet so net would be 300. 500 if he just placed the place bet.Innocent Bystander wrote: ↑Sun Sep 06, 2020 4:46 am So all we had to do was bet JSCs picks as-is, and 100 bucks would have netted $600?

So, ... you still came out ahead.Jsc810 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 06, 2020 11:53 pm Well I wouldn't have bet $100 like that.
If I'd been at the track, I probably would have only bet $20 something like this:
Kentucky Derby finish order
No. Horse Win Place Show
18 Authentic 18.80 6.00 5.00
17 Tiz the Law 3.40 3.20
9 Mr. Big News 16.80
$2 Exacta (18-17) paid $41.00
$1 Trifecta (18-17-9) paid $1,311.80
$1 Superfecta (18-17-9-16) paid $7,925.80
So I would have won
$3.40 ($2 P Tiz the Law)
$3.20 ($2 S Tiz the Law)
$18.80 ($2 W Authentic)
$6.00 ($2 P Authentic)
$5.00 ($2 S Authentic)
$41.00 ($2 exacta Authentic, Tiz the Law)
-------------------------
$77.40
- $20.00 total bets
==============
$57.40 total win
And then I would have bought drinks for everyone in the group, and stopped at the gift shop and bought a hat or something. Definitely would have left the track with less money in my pocket than I started off with.
But I would have had fun.
Shirley Temple for me, bro.
