I remember the first time I looked at a clock that changed by itself. It was a VCR and I was like “Sweet!” Now I’m pissed at the few clocks I have left that don’t change.
I guess folks that stay on Standard time love seeing the sunrise at 4 AM or so. People who golf or play softball after dinner/work like the sunlight at the end of the day. The USSR (used to--not sure if Russia still does)n had Double Daylight Savings for a couple months. I'd say that's going a bit too far.

They just need to keep it the same all year whether it’s “daylight savings” or standard time. A good idea might be to make noon happen around the time the sun is highest.
