Speaking of----I am at a loss to understand where/how/why this "Asian Hate" thing developed. Who in hell "HATES" Asians ?? For that matter who in hell thinks Black Live Don't Matter ?

Asian hate and black lives don't matter are vehicles the press uses to get people to pay attention to their spoken and written word. The truth is that the vast majority of the millions of people who live in this country think rationally and behave themselves. I stopped watching and reading the news years ago, and I discovered something -- that, even if they do have different viewpoints, people are generally good. The nuts being covered by the news are aberrations, and not the norm.

As to masks and social distancing, that is a different subject entirely. I see nothing wrong with taking steps to prevent from getting sick from a virus that is highly contagious and known to kill. No need to get hysterical, but preventive measures are a good thing.

It is to the distortions, which shape the people you talk to.
Not watching too much news is a good thing, locking yourself off might be good mentally but it does make you more ignorant.
