This is not a flat earth thread
So DO NOT bring it here, knuckleheads!
This is a "What is wrong with these astronots?" thread.
Go get your favorite beverage and then settle in to watch this 7:50 spectacle.
How anyone can watch these two fvcktards at the beginning of the video and not recognize that they are blatant shysters is beyond me.
It's no wonder Neil Armstrong went turtle and stopped making public appearances.
What a tortured individual he had to have been.
But such will happen when you willingly hand over -----> your balls.
"The black void" or "stars everywhere?"
Which is it, fuckwits?
You were all fucking THERE.

Hey simpleton. Work on your reading comprehension. You brought up space. I pointed out there isn’t a physical firmament boundary.
But yeah, if I were you I would want to limit the discussion as well so as not not have my ass kicked again.

Re: This is not a flat earth thread
I did watch the whole video.
There are a few contradictions. The number one being that Armstrong didn't see stars, but as LS said, he could have had different visor tint. Also, he was one the surface of the moon, whereas most of the others are commenting about being in orbit. I assume that the light reflecting off the moon, 6 ft away has a different effect than light reflecting off something hundreds or thousands of miles away.
And the asian dude talks about the sun washing out the stars when looking towards the sun. He did say that when looking away, the stars were visible and very bright, as did pretty much all the rest, save Armstrong.
Another swing and a miss there erf-domer.

Re: This is not a flat earth thread
Among a whole host of other things, the two pitiful shills at the start of the video, both of whom are said to have been in space multiple times, contradicted each other.
Pettit fvcked up with what he was supposed to say about the sky.
Face the reality that is right in front of your eyes.
The astronots just can't get their stories straight regarding what the sky was supposed to have looked like to them.
And this is what happens when liars try to continue in a lie.
It gets exposed,
The exchange (1:12 to 1:37) is funny/sad.
Neil Armstrong visibly balks (1:33 to 1:37) when M. Collins deviates from what Neil had expected they were supposed to be saying about the sky.
Btw, the entire Aldrin, Armstrong, Collins press meeting video is online. Look it up.
The mood of the press and the American people, was highly celebratory at that time. First man on the moon, etc.
The three men walk in and are dour, sullen, uncomfortable, tense, as if they are sitting in the principal's office.
Neil went away and hid for years.
Buzzed still crawls out occasionally, and is not all there.
A sad old drunk.

Re: This is not a flat earth thread
Neil might know math but he has no idea what logic is. He was asked a math question about Earth curvature and answered with, people have calculated exactly how to get to the moon therefore that is proof we went. I shit you not, he said he knows how to get to your house (if he knew the address) so he has been there, as an answer to geometry question. THAT is why people believe in flat earth, at least the non crazy ones.
I find the whole thing very interesting, especially how people react when asked a math question about flat vs round they can’t answer.
As an aside: I have had many sktizo clients and not one believed in flat earth, but space and aliens and livin on the moon were high on their belief lists. Take from that what you may.

Watch the video from 3:33 to 3:50.
He said when he was on the side opposite the sun it was "the darkest black you can imagine."
He didn't say anything about seeing stars.
Leroy also said that when he was on the sun side he couldn't see the stars because the sunlight washes them all out.
Yet all 3 NAZA shills say that stars are fully visible in the sunlight, and are in fact magnificent.
Leroy is a liar, as are the 3 NAZA eunuch shills.
And watch the "spacewalking" dipshit from 5:24 to 5:32.
A "frightening sea of darkness," he claims it was.
Yet watch the other astronot liar (Reilly) from 5:46 to 5:55.
He says the exact opposite -- that the array of stars is an overwhelming sight to behold.
NAZA is tripped up on its bullshit, so stop trying to act as if it is on the up-and-up.
It is absurd.

The astronot (5:57 to 6:57) says that traveling back to earth n the craft, the heavens were 10x brighter, and the stars 10x as numerous as what is seen by man on earth.
That is quite extraordinary, yes?
And certainly an event in your life that you would never forget.
And yet M. Collins (who only rode in the craft, and was not ever on the moon) says, "I don't remember seeing any stars."
ummm....
What?
LOL
And that was the moment in the presser when Neil Armstrong visibly balked and was like "WTF did you just say, dude?"

This is not a flat earth thread
I will admit that the whole “lunar landings were fake” theory is plausible.
There were political points to be gained by being the first to the moon.
But to dismiss all space travel as made up, because your book written by some goat fukker in Palestine a few millennia ago says there’s an impenetrable done up there, takes a special kinda tard.

Now both of you are going off on tangents that are not germane to the present discussion in this thread.
The first step is to acknowledge that these astronots are either lying, or they have somehow lost normal mental capacity.
Everyone can see it.
Once you admit this reality, you can then begin to ask why they are lying, or how it can possibly be that they have lost basic mental capacity.
But they are lying.
We know it.
Take the step, admit this, and begin to liberate your mind.
Then of course there are many discussions that will ensue.

I don’t fly a commercial jet. But yes, most commercial airlines don’t get much above 40,000 feet.
The Gulfstream jets I fly most of the time can get above 50,000. That is above most of the weather and turbulence.

You fly charters, which I would classify as "commercial".
I would think that they are quite similar to airline jets, just smaller. Why do they have higher ceilings?

Re: This is not a flat earth thread
I have never flown a “charter” for my own company. Charter is a for hire type of arrangement. Think of a charter like this. You and your old lady decide to take cock block and his girlfriend plus some family friends to Aruba for a long weekend. You toss down your Amex Black card and the $75,000 goes on your card. You tell the pilots when and where to pick you up in CT and where to drop you in Aruba. Same for the return.smackaholic wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 3:23 am You fly charters, which I would classify as "commercial".
I don’t fly those type of flights. Netjets and Wheels Up and the others have all the pilots they need.
Meanwhile, Ricky’s Auto Parts has their headquarters in say Hartford. Ricky and some of his employees need to get to a windshield wiper manufacturing plant in butt-lick Saskatchewan. Ricky’s Auto Parts owns their own plane and has two pilots to fly the thing around for them. One of Ricky’s two pilots is on vacation and isn’t available to fly to Butt-lick. This is where my company steps in. Ricky’s calls me up and I or one of my employees flies up to Hartford. Then we fly Ricky and his employees to Butt-Lick and back. Ricky’s Auto Parts pays my company for supplying this pilot.
As for why we can fly so much higher, the biggest reason is the awesome gulfstream wing. It is of a supercritical design and is crazy efficient. That allows us to fly fast and high with very little drag. The other reason is our size to weight and power to weight ratios. Commercial flights are all about how many people can we force into the smallest space. The planes I fly don’t shoehorn people in like crazy.

This is not a flat earth thread, but one quick comment.
The term firmament is from the Bible, and God placed the sun, moon, and stars in the firmament (Genesis 1:17).
So if the firmament is there, and it is as described in the Good Book, you might need to get up there where the sun, moon, and stars are located.
Considerably higher than 50k, I would assume.
Just sayin'.

I actually did a little reading on the subject. In addition to what LS and the midget mentioned, another big factor is that the airlines run the dog shit out of their planes. 4-5 compression cycles a day is common. Lefty’s Gulfstream, OTOH might go days at a time sitting on the ramp.
And since airframe lives are measured in cycles and the severity of said cycle, keeping them to 35k ft, means you get a lot more of them.
It would be possible to build a 50k ft flying cattle car errrrr airliner, but it would be expensive and the airlines would wear it out fast.
