Bunch of people stop to scoop up the free money.

One couple parks their car in a traffic lane to join the free-for-all. Locks themselves out of their car. Gets arrested for stealing the money and car towed. Nice job.

Two people were arrested at the scene, and Sgt Martin warned that any others found to
have taken the money could face criminal charges.

He noted there was plenty of video shot by bystanders at the scene and that the CHP and
FBI were investigating.
