IIRC there was an episode about a Russian dancer wanting to defect from the USSR (I believe it closed with Elton John's Tiny Dancer in the background).
And there was also an episode revolving around the tragedy at Riverfront Stadium during The Who concert in 1979 where 11 people died when a crowd tried to rush the gate.
