This is pretty simple. State constitutions can’t just be ignored.

What it should be is a wake up call to Portlandia liberals, but they don’t seem to care. If you don’t agree with them then your shit should burn.

Each State has a process to amend their constitution. For Western Oregon counties, it will take amending the Oregon Constitution and the Idaho Constitution. Then they have to get the US Congress to sign off.

Those eastern areas don't contribute much financially to the state, anyways.

Since they don't contribute much, you should be for their right to succeed.

A more sane approach would be for states to limit what they do. All government that can be handled at the town or county level, should be.

Limited government, at all levels is the solution. Sadly, we have become a country that wants just the opposite.

Yeah, I'm sure those towns in eastern WA & OR would have been fine w/o aid from Salem & Olympia when Mt. St. Helens blew....
