Dean pointed to an "appearance of impropriety" in the actions of Republican election officials in Ohio, adding that, "It's been widely reported over the last years that Republicans do target African-Americans for voter suppression." Dean said that Democrats could "not conclude one way or the other" whether John Kerry would have won if the alleged suppression had not taken place.

The Florida Constitution stated that county elections supervisors were responsible for ballot design, ballot machine allocation, and voter registration, yet, you people declared that Jeb and Harris were responsible.

There's no reason to refute what he said. In the first place we haven't even seen the report that the DNC drafted alleging these things.

Settle down, dolt. Lets wait and see if the Democrats actually release their report.

"It's clear" and "widely reported" are worse generalizations than even *I* use to make a point, and that's saying something. When he can quote a news story or independent survey, it'll matter. Until then, it's just a bunch of crap.

Here, I can do it too: "It's clear that Democrats have historically been the largest perpetrators of election fraud. It's been widely reported that California Democratic pollworkers in Republican districts often destroy or fail to deliver ballot boxes to the designated offices." Hey, that was fun!

Blacks' votes are being suppressed? As a demographic, don't they generally vote at about a 10% clip? Sounds like they suppress themselves far better than any Republicans ever could.

I am as anti-Bush as the next guy, but the onus is on Dean to come up with more than a sound-bite, otherwise all the refutaion needed would be, "It is far from clear there was any voter suppression." ...a-a-a-a-and stalemate.
