There are plenty of photos out there where modern airlines are flying with holes in their wings. Most of them from metals much stronger than steel.

As you're supposed to know, the wings are the fuel tanks on airliners, and holes are a serious no-no. And of course your tepid claim of photos of wing-damaged airliners flying is absurd--especially the sort of damage incurred from hitting a steel pole at 530 mph.

But since you're in the mood for spinning yarns, how about if you remind us of your theory--delivered with apparent sincerity--of flight 77's wings folding onto the fuselage so as to allow the passage of the entire aircraft into the 10-foot hole without breaking the windows where the wings (and engines) would have struck.
