You guys know anything about Seattle?
My sister's adopted daughter is getting married to a guy who lives in Redmond, Washington. They've been living together for 6 years so like it even matters at this point Put a ring on it, sign some paperwork in front of a notary and leave me out of it. Uuugh.
I'm looking for stuff to do in the PNW that does not include the Space Needle or the CHAZ/CHOP museum.
I'll go to Pike's Place Market unless there are a bunch of homeless campers. If I wanted to play hopscotch with human turds and needles I'd live in San Francisco.
What else is there to do in the Seattle area that's like a "can't miss" activity?

Last time we did the tourist thing there, Pikes was pretty clean and wholesome. Very nice and cool. I expect it still is.
Also, sounding even more touristy, but a Great outing was a night ship tour around the Seattle and close water ways. Drinks and snacks. This was a family deal not a booze cruise but I suppose they have them too.
Bring back some pics.

Pike's has a chocolate tour we are interested in. Can't go wrong with chocolate.
I thought about doing something on the water but it's November 19th and I assume the weather in Seattle will be un__think__able.
Pics could happen.

I thought about it!
Seahawks have a bye that week. Maybe there's a bowl game at UW. Imma google that.
Shut up, Randy!

Seattle used to be a "nice' city. Rainy and gray, but clean and safe. Now it's overrun with "antifa'" scum and BLM thugs, and is run by Woke assholes who seem to hate America, Western Civilization, and white people--not necessarily in that order. Murders are way up, as are assaults and robberies. And police response--and morale--is at an all-time low.
But sure, be brave--a pioneer in reconquering the West.
Here's a local Seattle self-deputized community overseer...

Spent some time in Seattle in 1959 when I had time off from my USFS surveying job up in the
Cascades. Was clean and safe. Had a nice zoo and park in that area. Pike Street was good for bar hopping and chasing skirt. From what I read--- not so friendly these days. Good luck. Your report and some photos will be greatly appreciated.

Wolfie, did you say 1959? Huh? Were you driving the ol' 55? Yeah, things have changed a bit. No more milk trucks, phone booths, responsible public officials, safe streets, good schools, or police response to a 9-1-1 call in under an hour. But other than that you haven't missed much. :P
