Weekend Roll Call 10-29-22
Good to see the horribly kept secret of John 5 joining Motley
come to fruition. He will be a nice fit.
Now, if we could just get John Corabi to replace Vince ....
Got more on my plate this weekend than I will likely have
time to complete. Early voting starts today at our local
election board. I am gonna try real hard to swing by,
VOTE BLUE, and cancel out all of wrong-town's horrible
red votes. Also hoping to have time to head out and
get a nice meal at Red Lobster. I'll let everyone know if
I have a Chuckie Brown sighting.
Meme of the week ....
Happy Weekend, Y'all.

IN. Still waiting for piles of debris to be picked up off our street. NCAA football going full bore. Go Syracuse.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.

Good morning, happy weekend. Been waking up to my neighbor's semi new rooster. Probably two of them and a bunch of hens. About 1/2 mile away, but loud and clear. Local laws prohibit roosters [noise] but no one cares. I love it, a bit of real life.
Raising them must be for fun or fly tying material, or eggs now days, because we can get a nice juicy gutted, picked, and cooked costco bird for $6.
Just for effect, not "my" birds.

I will be voting in-person, with ID, on November 8 so they can actually be legitimate red votes because I'm actually an American who cares about this country and wants to see it bounce back. I know, how "racist" of me. Any blue vote just goes toward more debt, more inflation, more crime, more school indoctrination and grooming, and groups like antifa tearing up cities because the blue votes abolished and defunded police departments. And then there's the blue votes that go towards pussifying the military in the name of "inclusion."
Been bacheloring it up for the past few days (minus the dates and the one night stands) while my wife and kids are in Dallas visiting her parents. I would have gone, but no more PTO from work and a lot of transitioning is happening so not a good idea for me to take days off anyway. Oh damn.
Just hanging around the house today, probably cleaning the place, may head to a bar tonight.
Supposed to rain this evening and all day tomorrow while the rest of the family drives back home.

Re: Weekend Roll Call 10-29-22
Roach's rooster story reminds me of a guy who built his chicken coop with a low ceiling to stop the rooster crowing. The theory was that a rooster needs to extend its neck to crow and if he can't extend his neck...no crow. It worked for a while until the rooster figured out he could lay down and stretch out laterally. You just can't stop a rooster from making his crow. I'm glad your town is chill with chicken ownership, Roach. Even with a brood of straight hens one of them will typically act like a rooster, often crowing a crown and everything. ---->trigger warning<----"Self-identifying" as a male, if you will.
Stayed up last night watching more late season magic from the Philadelphia Phillies. Poor Verlander, lol. I'm surprised Dusty "Best Manager Without a WS Title" Baker didn't pull Justin sooner but I'm glad he didn't. There are not enough words to describe how much I hate the Astros. Their fans suck, their players are asshats, their town is a toilet. Every fan was given a rally towel but nobody waved them. Thafuk? When the Rays made their WS push the fans were standing, screaming, waving towels on EVERY PITCH. Astro fan would finally stop eating popcorn and pay attention to the game with two men in scoring position and two strikes on the batter. Oh NOW you care what's happening? Fuckoff, Astros.
Tonight Valdez faces Wheeler and the Phillies have a legitimate opportunity to take both games in Houston. I followed Frambler closely this year since he was on my fantasy team. He is stellar on paper but he tends to make mistakes in high leverage situations. One of the things the Phillies are good at is putting pitchers in high leverage situations. I'm going to put Tune Town in one ear and the game in the other.

Just like the shadows that obviously haunt douchemike’s dreams, the morning light thru the mountains here in Vail this morning was awesome. Snowed a couple of days ago so we will be taking a walk by the Eagle River to see the sights, bocce ball at the Westin Beaver Creek later then jacuzzi, BBQ and baseball. Livin the dream.

Voting early still requires you to be in-person, with ID.
Just incase you need any help --- vote for Trudy and all
other dems, yes on weed, and no on all the others.
You're welcome.

Already made up my mind and it's not going the way YOU want it. Why would I want to make Missouri like Califorado??? We are certainly much better than that.

Don’t give away our secret. It’s too crowded here already. The last thing we need is any knuckle dragging cousin fucking MAGAT idiots. There’s enough of them in the Central Valley as it is.Jsc810 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 30, 2022 9:35 pm California, the place with lower taxes than Texas?
California, the place that is about to become 4th largest economy in the world?
You're right, the place sounds awful.

Douchetown is just a poor fly over fuck. He couldn’t afford Cali or here in CO. It’s all sour grapes.

You can't make Missouri like CA or CO. They don't send minor juvenile offenders off to a detention camp for them to be abused like MO does.d-townmike wrote: ↑Sun Oct 30, 2022 7:18 pmAlready made up my mind and it's not going the way YOU want it. Watching the Niners start to beat up on the Lambs.
McCaffrey with a hat trick today. I wonder if the Niners are happy with that trad. I Swear there’s a lot more red than Blue in SoFi today.
And fuck the Lambs (and the Dodgers) BTW.
Cooking this Eyetalian bean stew for dinner while I’m watching.
