GAME OVER!
NFL MNF - Bills @ Bengals
"Postponed"
Damar Hamlin (Bills) collapsed on the field and it was obviously a life and death situation.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2 ... 2RMJYIY7O4
A very horrifying scene.
Google and/or Youtube it yourself, fans.
I don't want to post the video here.
Btw, I do not blame the Democrats or the Republicans.
I notice that a few of our 3 Best Bets players had action on this game.
Guess we'll have to *sit* on this one until further notice.

Re: GAME OVER!
Not being familiar with Hamlin I was thinking when I first heard about it that perhaps he had a previous concussion & received a serious head injury. But the video I saw didn't show any real helmet contact. I think somehow the contact around his chest caused his heart to stop.
According to ESPN paramedics performed CPR for around 15 minutes before taking him to the hospital. I don't think he's going to make it (or if he does he'll have serious brain damage).

You are one sick puppy.

That’s Scott. He’s from Anaheim.
Re: GAME OVER!
I was always taught to look for Commotio cordis whenever there was blunt force trauma and heat issues at the same scene when I was an EMT. Basically the heart gets hit and it disrupts the electrical circuits. You can see him get hit in the left side of his chest not his head on the vid as you stated. 100% seen people that bad that were fine (for lack of a better term) hrs or days later.Diego in Seattle wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 4:07 am Not being familiar with Hamlin I was thinking when I first heard about it that perhaps he had a previous concussion & received a serious head injury. I saw a cardiologist & and ER doc saying the same tonight. And now his marketing rep says that his vitals are back to normal.Kierland wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 6:08 amI was always taught to look for Commotio cordis whenever there was blunt force trauma and heat issues at the same scene when I was an EMT. Diego,
Great news! Thanks for the update.
On a side note Fuck You Skip Bayless!
Rack Shannon Sharpe!
Their show tomorrow should be interesting, if Skip isn’t canceled over night.

Oh, yeah. I forgot. 24 year old professional athletes in peak physical condition go into cardiac arrest all the time.
Oops, no they don't or at least they didn't use to. You seem very defensive and angry. Worried?

Re: GAME OVER!
Actually it does happen from time to time with young athletes. Including before the first Covid infection.
But nice try at using Hamlin's near-death experience to maliciously attempt spreading your anti-vaxxer misinformation, mouth-breather.

This is the same thing that happened to Chris Pronger in 1998. Took a shot to the chest and then collapsed seconds later. The Whistle Is Screaming wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 5:32 pm And another one, happened to a local kid playing lacrosse, simple stick check to his chest.

Re: GAME OVER!
The league needs to just declare the game a tie.
Chiefs can roll over the duhs and take the first
round bye as they are accustomed to.

pushing the entire playoffs back a week and eliminating
the bye week before the SB. I do not see that as a realistic
possibility.
Everything's all "thoughts and prayers right now." That tone
will change soon when fans realize they may screwed on playoff
rankings. Fantasy players are already starting chirp seeing that
most leagues had their fantasy superbowls this weekend.
The '71 Bears and Lions think they should have finished the
game last night.

Don’t be surprised if tragedies like this become fairly common.
Young, healthy athletes were forced to take these goddam mrna “vaccines”. Young, healthy people who were vaxxed began experiencing heart problems right away. I’d be shocked if we don’t see a rash of these occurrences.

Re: GAME OVER!
Go see my link. Did the previous young athletes who experienced a heart stoppage after blunt force trauma time travel to 2022 & get vaccinated, go back to their own time, and then experience the same as Hamlin?Booger wrote: ↑Wed Jan 04, 2023 1:36 am Don’t be surprised if tragedies like this become fairly common.

Agus said approximately 30 cases of commotio cordis occur in the U.S. every year, including among Little League players who get hit in the chest with a ball.

Re: GAME OVER!
This.
Tuned into the Sabres game tonight and they halfway tried to embarrass the audience into turning it off completely. They were ashamed to broadcast it and you should be ashamed to watch it. One of the more bizarre marketing strategies I've heard.
Eventually, they'll figure out that they have to go through Arrowhead in the playoffs and they can kiss their Superbowl hopes goodbye. That city will implode, they're not the brightest lamps in the shop but they do get there eventually.
Thoughts and prayers, yeah.
Re: GAME OVER!
Crazy that a billion dollar company doesn’t have plans in place for possible senecios due to violence when violence is their business but, play the games left. See if the missing game makes a difference. If it doesn’t problem solved even though fantasy still cares but that’s on them. If it does matter give them the tie and see if that breaks the log jam. If not flip a fucking coin which is the last tie breaker anyways.

Re: GAME OVER!
The NFL has said that it intends to go ahead with the regular schedule for week 18, which seems to indicate that the BUF @ CIN game will ultimately be declared a tie.
But I saw Jay Williams this morning saying that it might too soon to play, and especially for the Buffalo Bills.
He floated the idea of the whole league taking this week off, which would be ""okay" because there is an extra week between the league championship games and the Super Bowl, and that extra week could be done away with.
What do you think about this?

Also, to hell with a report I saw earlier today about removing 1 Chiefs victory
to even things up so that the Cincy - Buff outcome is no longer needed.

Paywall may screw you, so here's the quote:
On a side note- I see all the usual tards turning a non-politicalNFL reporter says league may not count a Chiefs game when determining playoff seeding.
The other option is to not count the Chiefs-Broncos game from Sunday when determining the seeding.
thread into a steaming pile of shit like always.
