NFL playoffs ...

Re: NFL playoffs ...
Predictions?
This is the game of the week.
Niners by 10.
The Cowboys will be able to exploit the Niners defense on some deep throws and will score some points. But they won’t be able to keep up with the Niners’ offense and will get beaten down in the second half.
Niners win 30-20. Purdy with a couple more TD passes. CMC and Deebo will both go over 100 yd combined rushing and receiving.

Cowboys have added two-point conversion plays for this game.

Well I didn’t get much right except that the Niners won. Which is the main thing. The defenses were a lot better than I expected. And the Niners did pretty much dominate the second half.

I didn't see the game today, but didn't he have a PAT blocked?
lol

Yes, and it probably would have missed if it wasn’t blocked. He pulled it way to the left. But he did make two of two FGs.Softball Bat wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 5:09 amI didn't see the game today, but didn't he have a PAT blocked?

Chiefs-Eagles Super Bowl.
Re: NFL playoffs ...
The way the FOX over the hill gang is talking you’d think that Philly was a two TD favorite.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

LOL. McCaffrey is a fuckin man.
Niners defense hasn’t actually allowed any points considering the blown call on 4th and 3.

Absolutely no niner pass threat.
They might as well forfeit.

I expected much more from the 49ers. In the NFL forum I predicted the niners would lose late. They never even played the game.
Shut up, Randy!
Re: NFL playoffs ...
49ers melting hard
Re: NFL playoffs ...
They started well except for Purdy immediately getting dinged. It sure did fall apart fast.Donnie Baker wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 10:49 pm I expected much more from the 49ers. In the NFL forum I predicted the niners would lose late. They never even played the game.

Not that it would have changed anything, but I hate those roughing the kicker penalties where the guy had a legitimate opportunity to block the kick.

Re: NFL playoffs ...
Roughing the kicker should be like roughing the passer. If there’s contact sue to a legit possibility that the defender makes the play, there should be no call.

Getting out scored, out gained in yards, out coached, committingScrew_Michigan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 1:21 pm One boneheaded play gifts the game to the Chefs. Nice going, Who Dey.
more turnovers, losing the time of possession battle and committing
twice as many penalties had nothing to do with it I guess.

A play like that has to be maddening for a head coach.Screw_Michigan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 1:21 pm One boneheaded play gifts the game to the Chefs. Nice going, Who Dey.
You know they drum it into these guys to be smart, know the situation, know where you are, have self control.
And then at the most critical time in the game, a numbnut loses his mind and costs you a chance to win the game.
Without that penalty, the game is most likely going to overtime.
Did the Bengals let Joseph Ossai on the plane back to Cincy?
Btw, there has was a whole lot of chatter on Twitter about the game being -----> rigged.
D-town knows.
