What kind of government would force its people to submit to governance without their consent? S’up Authoritarianism?

Screwy, you ever been to Wyoming? It’s an incredibly gorgeous state. Winter would clearly be brutal, but the rest of the year would be fantastic.
No it's not.
Don't be inviting people here. This place sucks. Y'all stay in your beautiful cities and leave me to my desolate hellhole.
Shit. Wasn’t thinking. Yeah, Wyoming sucks. It’s a cesspool. No drag queens.
But it does have homicidal homophobes, so there's that...

It’s not a Constitutional argument. But it is axiomatic that governments of the people, by the people and for the people (Lincoln, yo) can only derive just powers if they have the consent of the governed (see quote above). Thus, if the governed no longer consent, our history seems to suggest that they should have the power to declare independence (which may only be obtainable via secession). What kind of government would force its people to submit to governance without their consent? S’up Authoritarianism?
Bye already. You red shitholes can have your garbage economies. Us blue states (as of course the District will be a state) will have our prosperity.
Seems like your blue states and the District would love secession. Shed those you hate, and prosper. Right?

He leaves out the part about those red hellholes supplying the materials that make their comfy lives possible.
Of course, they're fine with obtaining these materials from slave labor in actual hellholes.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

Rural blue states?
Let me check my spread sheet.
VT......uhhhh, maybe NM, CO.
I am sure there is some raw material output from NM and CO. And VT is a good source for maple syrup and micro-brews, but good luck running an economy off it.
CA would at least keep you fukkers fed, I guess.

The solution there, something long overdue, IMO is get rid of the 2/state rule and dole out Senate seats in proportion to population.
The current law means someone in Wyoming has close to 100 times more Senators/person than Cali.
I fail to see how that is fair.
You also fail to see how the 17th amendment shattered the structure of the federal government as originally conceived. It was a typical progtard fuckup.
The original conception of the United States was a union of two sovereign powers: the states and the people. These sovereigns delegated enumerated powers to the federal government through the Constitution. The House was intended to represent the People and the Senate was intended to represent the States. State legislatures were to elect US senators to represent the interests of the state as a whole. This is why each state has equal representation in the Senate and why the 17th amendment is a horrifically stupid idea which should repealed.

Another angle in dealing with Blue State depravity is being considered in Oregon where a GOP state senator is forwarding a resolution to have the eastern rural (red) area leave Oregon and become part of Idaho. It's a long shot, but a good idea.
Of course it is. You fucking brats don’t like how it’s going so you want to burn it down. After bitching an moaning how great it was for decades and telling people to fuck off if they didn’t like it. Typical spoiled privileged kid behavior.

Just remember, America: If your kids overdose on fentanyl, President Biden will laugh about it to score cheap political points.
Talking to a group of House Democrats, Biden smirked off an attack by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R- Ga.) over the testimony of Rebecca Kiessling, whose sons Caleb and Kyler died from the drug. “That fentanyl they took came during the last administration,” chortled the prez, adding a heartless “heh, heh
