We had to sit through 7 sessions of Here and Heard videos and engage in an hour long conversation about each session with our boss. On top of that, we had to go to our technology campus for an 8 hour D&I training.

I believe it’s necessary for some D&I training but last year was pure overkill. The company spent 22 work hours for each employee to go through these sessions and the one day of D&I training.

Something that could have taken maybe a total of 8 hours to understand.
