Anyone checked it out on TNT? Kinda reminds me of the Lonesome Dove but with more Indians and less cowbell. Three weekends and I am an addict.
Lovin' it.

That isn't completly true about the series. It has shown both the good and the bad. Those that respected the Native Plains tribes. The deep divisivness abolision served pre and during the civil war, especially Missouri.mothster wrote:white man steal land, kill squaw, rape buffalo, trick red man with firewater, get over speaking with forked tounge
I was sure that this series would be a disappointment from Speilberg and lean to far in one direction or the other. I think it has been a fairly accurate portrait of the times so far.
Makes me appreciate even more the fact (in some aspects in others disappointed) that I live in the world I do today. My wife and I would definatly never have been permitted to live as man and wife in that period. I would have been shot quicker than you can say United States Calvary :?

I've been missing it. I'll have to watch one of TNT's 37 replays of it. Good shit, huh Prime?PrimeX wrote:Anyone checked it out on TNT? Kinda reminds me of the Lonesome Dove but with more Indians and less cowbell. Three weekends and I am an addict.
