Vehicle theft in the 80’s was 600+ Per 100k people. It’s less than 300 today. So we can add “vehicle theft” to things you know nothing about.HighPlainsGrifter wrote: ↑Sun Sep 10, 2023 5:05 pm Every vehicle built before 1988(ish) could be stolen in under 60 seconds. I don't remember a car theft epidemic in the 80's. I wonder why.
btw, most any modern car can be stolen in 3 minutes with a signal generator. Barriers to entry in the Late Model GTA Industry are minimal. Basically, the cost of a signal generator, knowing how to use it, and a fence for the stolen goods. Fear of prosecution is no longer a barrier to entry and it's strange that some on the Left don't find that a problem.

Your buddy from .pedo is lying, there is no Epidemic.Sudden Sam wrote: ↑Sun Sep 10, 2023 5:46 pm The far left is amoral. They offer nothing but excuses for criminal behavior. I should be able to leave my keys in the ignition and my doors unlocked and not be concerned with my vehicle leaving sans me.
The irony of you saying you should be able to leave the keys in car, what are those keys for again?

I know I can’t expect that kind of decent behavior. What pisses me off is all the excuses offered. The mayor of Chicago should be ashamed of his comments, but I’m sure he’s just fine with them.
These thieving kids have no direction, no morals, no guidance. And then they hear “leaders” making excuses for their actions.

Tell us you have no idea how crime works without telling us you have no idea how crime works. Yes it’s morals.

The best anti-theft device is a manual transmission.

Cool. I didn't have those numbers in front of me. Thanks for the update and I think it's good that auto thefts are on the decline.Kierland wrote: ↑Sun Sep 10, 2023 5:49 pmVehicle theft in the 80’s was 600+ Per 100k people. It’s less than 300 today.
