Those of you who’ve been paying attention over the 20 plus years we’ve been wasting time in this shithole and its predecessors know who cockblock is. He’s my son. He was glossed such when I posted a thread about his habit of coming into mom and dad’s bedroom at inopportune times since he was about 2.

Well, a little over a week ago he married an amazing young lady.

I married and stayed married to a wonderful woman until she died.

My guess is that my son and his wife will follow the example their parents set. Hopefully they’ll be luckier in the health department and grow old together.

There are a few here that have bragged about how Epcot it is to be a middle aged single dude.

As for having kids out of wedlock, yeah, it’s a pretty fukking dumb idea. It typically results in a much tougher financial situation, but once again, your trust fund security blanket insulated you from these poor life choices.

As for fucking outside of marriage, I don’t have an issue with it. But it does have a tendency to screw up the lives of young people. Especially women.

He is a clone of me….with wayyyyy better facial hair. He got started a little late with the boy scouts and was likely the only tenderfoot in BSA history to have a beard. Despite his late start, he made Eagle Scout about 15 minutes before his 18th birthday.

Got his facial hair from my wife’s side of the family. And no, she didn’t have facial hair.

CB hit the lottery with this one. Girl really has her shit together. She’s an environmental engineer. She’s even caused him to step up his game. Didn’t do much at Comm College other than meet her, but just finished HVAC school and had a great job.

Yup, they both got lucky. Also, they both had good role models. The bride’s grandparents, Bob and Rose are amazing. 64 years married and still hold hands whenever they’re together.
