The globalists at the UN, WEF, WHO, etc. are refreshingly open and honest with their goals. They want to depopulate and regulate. Countries sign on to these agendas but seem to implement them half-heartedly. All politics are local and that applies to large scale global initiatives. A bunch of countries might sit in a circle and talk about sustainability goals but back home if the people need a coal fired power plant, they're gonna build a coal fired power plant. So the WEF machine generally grinds grist very slowly, albeit with a recent acceleration by large trust funds like State Streeet, Vanguard, Black Rock, et. al.
China, in particular, seems to pay lip service more often than not. They smile and nod in meetings but they are operating independently. While the UN advances its agenda using United States style dictums, election manipulation(Brazil), economic pressure(Venezuela) and empire building('Sup Noriega), to name a few, China is taking a more diplomatic approach. While the US builds military bases China is building roads, schools, and hospitals. The US and its puppet the UN leverage power with a heavy hand while China is building good will. China is playing the long game. They plan to win a 100 year war while the US can't see past the front sight on their rifle.
