Long day on tap here in FOC, on what is to be a chilly day one.
There is an eclipse occurring today around lunchtime, but
the forecast is says clouds will prevent viewing.
I am running low on propane tanks again, so I had to re-post my
"wanted" ad on the swap pages. This always give me the opportunity
to converse with some of KC's finest citizens. I am not sure what
the reasoning is, but bums and tweakers always have large amounts
of tanks on hand and for dirt cheap. I also have no idea of where they
acquire them from to begin, nor do I ask. I have a couple of different
sellers today that I have somewhat vetted and feel reasonably sure I can
do business with, and walk away breathing.
One that I will not do business with, told me of an abandoned homeless
camp he knew about. He said there were over 40 tanks there. He said
he would show me where it was for $40. He was wanting to meet me, and then
show me exactly where it is. The general area is straight up hood, as was
his texting skills. I obviously declined and was promptly MF'd 3 times.
MIZZOU @ Kentucky today. I will not be boasting about any predicted outcome
of this game, after once again getting my nose whacked with a newspaper
after talking shit about a win that didn't happen last week.
We had a couple of cold ones last weekend around the fire pits.
Hope to maybe squeeze in a little bit of time and do the same again
at some point this weekend.
