Maybe Buick can put their cars on Amazon. :shrug:Almost half of Buick dealers across the United States have opted to take buyouts from General Motors (GM) to avoid having to sell Electric Vehicles (EVs) at a time when consumer reports show Americans are increasingly turned off by the cars.
According to GM, almost 1,000 of its nearly 2,000 Buick dealerships across the U.S. chose to take buyouts from the parent company rather than investing potentially millions into retooling and prepping dealers to service and sell EVs.

Did anyone have Buick in the Death Pool?
1000 Buick Dealerships ...dead
Ain't nothin' like the real thing, baby.
Re: Did anyone have Buick in the Death Pool?
You mean they’re still making Buicks? Their biggest problem in today’s market is that they don’t make a pickup.
Re: Did anyone have Buick in the Death Pool?
Might be the best business decision they've ever made.

Re: Did anyone have Buick in the Death Pool?
Probably time to kill off the whole concept of car dealers. About as relevant as the horse and buggy.
Buicks seems nice, but I've heard they have poor reliability and are rather expensive for that crappy reliability.

Man, I’m all for the whole car dealership concept to change completely. Should be virtual with a vending machine type vertical garage where you can punch in numbers with single-sign on verification and test drive with a proximity censor attached to the car.
Then we can tear up those massive lots and replace it with green space.

I thought the Buick unit only existed to service China, where it's a luxury brand. Post 2008 crash :???:
