I gotta admit, I am at a loss here sometimes. What the fuck has this place become?
We have retards crying and searching for someone with an IQ above 75 to explain
to them the meaning of a tv show that was originally aired 40 years ago.

We have retards resetting April roll calls, all because of a cough or a runny nose? 
Sprite, chicken soup, Nyquil, rest.  Problem solved.

We have retards that would rather discuss politics and college curriculums when we
have a college chancellor fired for making porn, instead of diving face first into the
porn topic.  If you went deep into the anniversary vid, you are chuckling right
about now at "diving face first,"   :)

I originally logged on this morning with the intent of discussing my brand new ......
this is NO BULLSHIT.... lesbian neighbors. But the way I see it right now, it would in no
way be treated with the respect it deserves.  One of you echo-chambered fucks would 
decide to try and psycho analyze the shit out of it, instead of delving deep into it and

Hope y'all caught the MIZZOU game last night.  First half sucked, but MIZZOU prevailed

Chiefs and gals tomorrow.  Chiefs gotta get this back on track or it is going to be a very
short postseason.  Last weeks game was an embarrassment.  Chiefs D played an outstanding
game, but the O simply let the raiduh D punch them in the mouth repeatedly. 
Mahomes played the worst game of his career, and still came close to pulling it out.  
The gals represent a nice opportunity to turn things around. Ignoramus nog  Ja'Marr Chase
spouted some mush mouth bulletin board material this week.  The idea that this moron was
actually enrolled at a university does not speak well of LSU.  Good thing he can catch a
ball because this dipshit would be riding on the back of a trash truck otherwise.

Grill biz all weekend in the cold, and the ball better drop by 8pm or I will be missing it again.

We will be driving to SE Missouri to a lakeside resort at Lake Wappapello. Way off the beaten path, but it's a beautiful area that will see over 4 minutes of totality. We will be staying an extra day because the resort we are staying at requires a 2 night minimum stay. But that's actually a good thing because from what we learned in the 2017 eclipse, hundreds of thousands of people will be flocking to an area that can't handle hundreds of thousands of people and traffic on those remote two-lane country roads will be a complete joke. In 2017, a buddy of mine took his family to a state park north of Cheyenne. It took them nearly 9 hours to get home and they lived not even 100 miles away.

Got our first snow yesterday and Thursday! It amounted to exactly nothing because the air and surface temps stayed above freezing. That's the only type of snow I really don't mind! If it was cold enough to accumulate, we would have probably gotten 2-4 inches. Around here, that's enough to shut things down and people start running their cars into guardrails or off the road altogether if they don't run into each other on the road.

Anyway, so my wife got me a scanner for Christmas. I've been wanting to get into this hobby for a while and she got me a Uniden Bearcat BC125AT. I programmed it last night. I think I need to buy a bigger and better antenna for this thing. It can't seem to get a whole lot of frequencies clearly. I found the Lambert Airport frequencies and those come in with a lot of static. We also live a few miles from a smaller more regional airport and those frequencies aren't received at all. I also want to listen to railroad communications and it hasn't gotten any of those frequencies.

I know police and fire frequencies are trunked and digital now so it doesn't sound like this will be able to get those at all.

But it's a good start.

No partying again for us this year on NYE. Second year in a row. Wife has to work today and tomorrow and will not be in any mood to go out on NYE after working consecutive 13 hour shifts.

I see Kierland's profile has been shut down! Thank the Lord above for that Christmas gift. Did he voluntarily run from this place with his tail between his pussy or was he runned like he should have been a long time ago? The running of Kierland and the return of HPG has actually improved this place this year!

Now if we can get DMike316 to come back from the dead, it'll be like old times at .net.

Hi y'all. I'm recovering now but have been dealing with medical issues again, there have been some challenging and unpleasant days recently. But the worst is behind me now. Best wishes for happy, healthy, and prosperous 2024.

Looks like it's gonna be a rainy and cold (not so cold for most of you) weekend here. Had some heavy showers this morning but I was dry for my farmers marked and Costco run. I'm happy for the rain because it means that we've pretty much skated through the fire season without even a hint of wildfires around here. The worst ones here (in 2007 and 2017) were both in December.

Also, in the past month I've installed around 50 new plants in various parts of our yard and spread a couple of lbs of wild flower seeds. The rain means that I can probably stop hand watering them, unless we end up having a really dry winter, which doesn't seem to be in the works right now. This is supposed to go on at least through mid week so, for now, I'm singin' in the the rain.
