The damn thing has tires designed for maximum acceleration on asphault. Don't do so well at crawling up icy hills.

Sucker weighs as much as a Navy Destroyer too.
Re: The Awesome New Tesla Cybertruck
All EVs do. Bad for tires, bad for roads. Unless you're using it for short hop urban commuting, you are a fucking a moron to own one.

I hear smackaholic is approaching that range, but he still rides a bicycle on occasion.

Re: The Awesome New Tesla Cybertruck
My company has an EV as of a few months ago. I've been loathe to bring it up cuz I'll never hear the end of it from Mikey. A Wind Generation company is paying to use it when we're on their roads. They also want me to build an EV charging station at GGas and I think this is their way of schmoozing us.
EVs are not practical around here but money is money.
Re: The Awesome New Tesla Cybertruck
I thought they resolved this with much lighter wire harnesses because they were able to redesign the battery cell and reengineer it to a 24v versus standard 12v. I think the weight of the Cybertruck is nearly the same as an F150 Supercrew Cab.mvscal wrote:All EVs do. Bad for tires, bad for roads. The only way they'll be practical is if you get a whole bunch of charging stations built. But you have to have enough drivers to use stations to make them feasible. Maybe when they design a lightweight battery that gives you 1,000 miles of range. Not holding my breath for that.HighPlainsGrifter wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 2:49 amMy company has an EV as of a few months ago. Probably true.
Because the ozone layer will be vaporized by the emissions from oil-burning machines before we run out of oil.

HA. No, Mr. Astronomy, the sun will burst into a super nova as happens to stars in their life cycle.

What would YOU do when in the face of the worst attack on America since Pearl Harbor, 9/11, etc., X10?

I don't know, perhaps not encourage them before they started the insurrection?

Why would Hawley feel the need to run away from a bunch of peaceful picnicers at that moment?Mikey wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 5:22 pmJosh Hawley? The cowardly little bitch? The Seer wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 5:17 pm The Biden Administration is paying China to produce electric cars and sell them to us.
