How come there's no horse since Secretariat, that is anywhere near as great?

I saw the original post, Mikey. You sure it was worth the edit just for a petty political pot shot?

Tell Mikey to show up at one of these campuses with an American Flag!!! I'm sure his fellow left-wing racist democrats will embrace him lovingly, with a shank.HighPlainsGrifter wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 5:20 pm I saw the original post, Mikey. Funny, I haven’t seen you bitch at all about JPGettingassfucked turning almost every thread into a multi-post multi-paragraph pointless political word salad. Why is that?HighPlainsGrifter wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 5:20 pm I saw the original post, Mikey. You sure it was worth the edit just for a petty political pot shot?

Nice non-answer.
So what’s your call on the race?

I pointed out that there haven't been any horses approaching the level of a secretariat, asking if anyone knew why that was.Mikey wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 5:56 pmFunny, I haven’t seen you bitch at all about JPGettingassfucked turning almost every thread into a multi-post multi-paragraph pointless political word salad. Re: the 150th Kentucky Derby, call it!
I am bad at animal abuse competition. I don't travel in Roux's social circles so I don't get any casual exposure to horse race chatter. Don't know a single one of these horses, their pedigree, or their owners. But I'm always open to a wild guess.
How do we play this game? Pick three in the top ten?
Re: the 150th Kentucky Derby, call it!
As you would at the track. Win, place, show. Exactas and trifectas if that's your thing.
Many years ago, my mother had a few horses that would race at the south Florida tracks. To be clear, they were nowhere remotely close to being Derby contenders, but we did make it to the winners circle a few times in some very low graded races.
Still, it was fun to watch them race. When I go to the track, I'll usually break even, and that's good enough for me.

Are we all playing exactas and trifectas? What are the rules here? Will Stat Boy keep track of the score?Roux wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 8:54 pm As you would at the track. Win, place, show. Exactas and trifectas if that's your thing.

Not sure I could name a 'sport' that I could care less about. Well, maybe women's basketball. Yes... women's basketball it is.

I'll take Heartache by a nose.
Now the race is on
And here comes pride in the backstretch
Heartache's goin' to the inside
My tears are holdin' back
They're tryin' not to fall
My heart's out of the runnin'
True love's scratched for another's sake
The race is on and it looks like heartache
And the winner loses all
Now the race is on

Heartache's goin' to the inside

We're off topic.
How do I win this thing? I assume the prize is a large one-topping Dominos pizza. What's the topping? Is it chicken month?

It’s a topping of your choice, but you have to choose chicken.
