BREAKING NEWS. Verdict is in
If it's a guilty verdict, the Supreme Court will reach down and take this immediately.
It's legal, I looked it up.
The case was so egregious, and undermined our legal system so blatantly, that the majority of justices will want to take it on immediately due to the threat the left-wing has posed to our constitutional republic on the eve of the election.
Stay tuned

And you tell me to STFU?
HOPEFULLY, when he gets re-elected this November, left-wing tards like you will be thrown into involuntary psychiatric confinement camps.

You can say "convicted felon" for a month or two?
Once it's overturned, you'll go back to eating cock, and won't be saying anything.
This Alzheimer's JOKE clown administration you voted for REVERSED EVERY policy from president trump on both the foreign and domestic fronts. As a result, we've got a complete and utter disaster both foreign and domestically.
YOU actually support a party with a base of racist sociopaths who openly support the nazis of hamas and Hezzbolah who rape and murder children.
I haven't even rolled my sleeves up yet, and already you've been embarrassed.

Are the blacks and Latinos who have decided to vote for Trump also brain dead?
We currently have a president who is so inept and so dishonest and so damn stupid that a man who spends all his time in courtrooms is likely going to beat him in November. Working folks are fed up with the mismanagement of the economy. Expect more and more blacks and Latinos to desert the Democratic party. People may detest Trump, but they have to eat, put gas in their cars, and pay for homes. Biden and his crew have proven they’re incapable of running things. Everyone was much better off under Donald the nutcase .
Re: BREAKING NEWS. Verdict is in
You keep claiming that Biden has mismanaged the economy. How, exactly, has he done that? What part(s) have been mismanaged and what should he be doing differently? Please, no bullshit anecdotes about people threatening to close their businesses. What part of the Trump plan or the GOP plan, besides we’re going to do it differently, would provide better results? Sounds to me like you’re just regurgitating a bunch of empty MAGA talking points.Sudden Sam wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 1:05 amAre the blacks and Latinos who have decided to vote for Trump also brain dead?

Mikey, I know less about economics than I do about K-pop.
But I see the huge difference in prices. I see mortgage rates out of whack. And I read and listen to people who are invested in things far deeper than I am.
I dislike Trump. I can’t make myself vote for him. But I do know we can’t afford 4 more years of the policies the Biden administration is pursuing.

Inflation is crippling everyone, with no end in sight.
From day one, this shitshow reversed every policy from the trump administration, and as a result, we are a disaster both foreign and domestically.
His border policy has been mismanaged, and so has his foreign policy.
His department of Justice has been weaponized against president trump, which is enough to warrant an immediate impeachment.

When the prosecution and judge put their hands on the scales of Justice, including the jury, the conviction will 100% be overturned.

Your legal expertise tells you that this prosecutor and judge put their hands on the scales of Justice.
They withheld information pertaining to key witnesses, and violated the 5th and 6th ammendments.
The reason why the high Court would reach down is due to a couple of their OWN recent decisions that were directly violated by this prosecutors case.
The way he strung together the charges, goes against recent rulings by the Supreme Court.
I'm stunned that you aren't aware of this.
It's one of several reasons why the high Court SHOULD and WILL step in.

New York State has ruined its credibility (and that presupposes that it had some to begin with). As explained by Bragg and the court, Trump committed a misdemeanor in 2017 when someone (we still do not know who) in his orbit entered "legal expenses" in a ledger when paying an invoice received from Michael Cohen, who shockingly was permitted to practice law at the time. The allegation is that the expenses were not legal expenses because a portion of the amount paid to Cohen was "hush money" paid to Stormy Daniels. The statute of limitations on that misdemeanor offense is 2 years and it ran out many years before this prosecution commenced. In order to "get" a felony case before "average Americans on a jury", Bragg had to indict Trump for a felony (six year statute of limitations). To do that, he asserted that the misdemeanor offense of entering the payment made to Cohen as legal expenses was in furtherance of another crime (which was unidentified until jury instructions were provided to the attorneys after closing arguments). The judge identified three possibilities: (1) violation of the federal election law; (2) violation of New York election law; and (3) tax crimes. Interestingly, the Federal Election Commission, which has exclusive jurisdiction over crimes of the first nature, previously reviewed the situation and determined that no crimes had been committed. Further interestingly, there was no evidence presented at trial relating to a violation of either federal or state tax law. Thus, the only possible basis for a felony conviction would be if there was evidence of a conspiracy to violate New York's election law. And the specific election law identified by the judge in the jury instructions states the following (italicized emphasis added):
Any two or more persons who conspire to promote or prevent the election of any person to a public office by unlawful means and which conspiracy is acted upon by one or more of the parties thereto, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
The unlawful means in this case? The prosecution argued that it was the bookkeeping misdemeanor that the statute of limitations had run on four years earlier. But that makes no fucking sense since it occurred after the election and could not have met the conditions of the statute. Whatever.
There is no chance the Trump convictions will survive appeal. I'll Hungus bet you on that if you want.
I really do not care that Trump has been convicted of a crime. That happens and it is why we have appellate courts. They are there to fix errors like this.
What galls me is that the law is being so selectively applied in New York (and around the country). Hillary Clinton, for example, in the very same election cycle used campaign cash to pay for opposition research on Donald Trump. She hid her campaign's involvement (and publicly lied about doing it until caught) by having the Fusion GPS dirty work performed on behalf of Perkins Coie, her law firm, and booked the expenses as legal expenses. This would be a misdemeanor accounting offense if the same theory that Bragg used to indict Trump was applied to HRC. But unlike Trump, the Federal Election Commission charged HRC's campaign with violation of the federal election laws based on this scheme and she paid a hefty fine. Again, if you applied the same law that Bragg and Merchan used in the case against Trump to the conduct of HRC, she too would be a convicted felon. But she skates (as does Hunter Biden and Joe Biden etc. etc. etc.).
I do not think any of these cases should be brought by state courts. It weakens our Democracy and causes people to rightfully lose faith with the institutions. Banana republics use their courts to silence political opponents. That has not happened in the U.S. until recently. And it is one-sided, all by the Democrat party. It is a dangerous tactic. I hope that the GOP shows restraint and does not retaliate. But I wouldn't Hungus bet that one. There is stupidity abound in DC and across the nation.

I hope that the GOP shows restraint and does not retaliate. But I wouldn't Hungus bet that one. There is stupidity abound in DC and across the nation.
Please accept my deepest and humblest apologies.
I rushed my opinion on the high stepping in.
Your post is 200: FACTS and you are correct, the conviction will easily be overturned upon appeal.
The legal system FAILED here and like both the inspector General report and the Durham report said, steps must be taken to see that this NEVER happenes again.
Obviously I'm talking about the federal government, the DOJ being weaponized against president trump.
But steps need to be taken here as well.
Are prosecutors and judges allowed to do whatever they want???
There's no "internal affairs" to make sure they follow the law?
But yes, upon appeal, president trump will NO LONGER be a convicted felon.

88 knows more about the legal system than you'll ever dream about knowing.
Noted legal scholars around the country have all said exactly what 88 has said. This court completely undermined the legal system.
It will be overturned upon appeal.
