Weekend Roll Call 6-15-24

Been on a bit of a Skynyrd kick for the last week or so.
One of my faves.



Grill biz up the ass as always, but with a slight twist today.
I have a couple of old classic smokers (non-Weber) that I am
redoing. Cunt hair chance of rain/storm this morning has
the entire plan for the day in limbo. tbd. Nothing special planned
for Fathers Day. I like to give the kids the break from yet
another bullshit holiday where they feel obligated to go buy
shit I don't need and come over and waste time doing shit
that none of us really want to be doing, nor have the time for.
I enjoy Fathers Day several times a year at impromptu times with
just a laugh, or getting a hand with something when needed.

Going back to the Yucatán later this week. Two of our daughters recently spent a week at the villa and seeing their pics has me really looking forward to spending some time at our 2nd home.

And following Dave's Skynyrd theme, one of my favorites from the band.




I've now had a damn sprained neck for a week. Been to the doc and PT. The PT was able to instantly identify which muscles are involved, and then held my head just so to where it didn't hurt. And then as soon as he let go, it went right back to being out of place and hurting again. He says he'll be able to fix it but it will take a few visits. Python, if ever you need a PT, check out Downtown Physical Therapy, great guy.

Of course we're taking our little dogs to Mexico, and now I'm at the vet getting them checked out for the trip. They don't like going to the vet but they do like running on the beach, and in about a week that's what they'll be doing.

As for father's day, I wish that the entire family could be together, but the girls are in Colorado, Texas, North Carolina, and Massachusetts. Proud of all of them. Maybe I'll cook tomorrow?

"Bought" a racehorse this week, of course it was just one share for $60, but that has been fun. Might buy shares in some other horses as well, we'll see. Y'all have a good one.
