This is the best Medvedev has ever looked at Wimbledon. Remember, he lost to Chris Eubanks last year. He’s always seemed uncomfortable on the grass but he brought his A game Tuesday versus Sinner.Softball Bat wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 9:31 pmAlcaraz wins as expected. Four sets.poptart wrote:Sinner (1)

But Medvedev pulls off the *UPSET*.
Medvedev and Sinner have such an interesting history.
Medvedev beat Sinner the first 6 times they played -- all on hard courts.
Sinner beat Medvedev the next 5 times they played -- all on hard courts.
Then at Wimbldon, in their 12th meeting, and their first meeting on a surface other than a hard court, Medvedev prevails in 5 sets.
Props to "The Octopus."
He'll have an interesting semifinal battle with Alcaraz.
Alcaraz has looked a bit spazzy this tournament, Medvedev could take him down. I see it going five sets.
Regarding the only remaining American Taylor Fritz, I’ve got advice for the guy starting now. If he wants to be a top five player, he needs to ditch the narc girlfriend. Her drama after arguably his best win at a major yesterday is enough to derail his preparation completely. He needs to clear his head and show her the door. Tommy Paul has a similar issue, picked a narc who wants to pose alone with his trophies. These chicks are vampires and career killers.
