I bought a house last night!

Actually, just part of a house. This is the largest house in Palmdale, CA, in the beautiful Antelope Valley. One of America's most attractive and desirable cities.

There are 47 total owners, and each of us has our own bedroom.

You bought a hotel room in the desert?

I think Mikey needs a cognitive test.

It’s not a hotel. It’s a house.

Ok.

If that's what they call a hotel on top of a sand dune.

Actually, it was designed by James Herbert Brownell, a renowned modernist architect from Southern California. And it’s not on a sand dune. More like a desolate desert outcropping.

Nice try. Palm(caster) was a shithole, is a shithole, and will be a shithole in the future. Low cost housing full of section 8's because it's a 45-60 min drive to civilization where the jobs are (for those few that seek work). Check out crime stats compared to other localities...But at least you'd be surrounded by your peeps...though there are just enough rednecks there to assist on unfurling your welcome banner.... 8)

Seriously? 😳
I bought it sort of “sight unseen.” Isn’t that right next door to Palm Springs?
