Weekend Roll Call 9-7-24

Post by kcdave »

Samuel Saint dropped a new vid this week.
Sven and of our other maga cult friendo's will
totally relate to this one.

Today may quite likely be the nicest weather day
for the entire year here in FOC. I plan to enjoy every
last bit of it. Lots of good college ball on today that I
will watch from the garage early and will have to set up
a tv on the deck later this evening.

Not exactly an election meme, but there is always
hope that the Harris/Walz administration along with
a blue wave in the house and senate could ease the
these occurences with a little bit of sensible gun
control.

Election Count down- 58 days

3pete Count down- 155 days
Chiefs 1-0 by a toe.

I kind of kicked around the idea of joining in
on that best bets thingy that all the cool kids
seem to be playing. I just don't know if I am
ready for that kind of commitment.
I sure do have my eye on a few games this
week though. If I were to join in on all the
fun and games......
I would be picking these-

Arizona +5.5 (current odds have Az at +6.5)
Hou -2.5 (current odds have Hou at -3) 8)
Dallas +2.5 (current odds are still the same) :-|

I still do not care for the way you are forced to use
the opening line. As seen above, it hurts me on one,
helps on another and is the same on the 3rd.
Kissing my sister at this point, I guess and not
worthy of bitching about.... for now. I will likely
go 0-3 regardless and lose all interst. TBD

I hate this fucking guy.

Happy Weekend, Y'all.

Since you are a master at comparing the opening lines to what they should be, just use that to your advantage. You don't have to pick 3 games every week, 3 is the max.

About to head to Tony's Seafood to get stuff for a gumbo, then the grocery store. We're not going to the LSU game, but probably will be out there for some tailgating.

Two daughters are in town, of course it is great to see them. Y'all have a good one

Edit: a link of boudin in the parking lot of Tony's. Breakfast of champions

We'd like to see you IN the game, dave.

Players don't have to pick games each week.
In fact, you can miss multiple weeks and still be just fine.

I understand your concerns about wishing we had moving lines, but I see no realistic way to have the game operate like that.
Anyway, the rules are the same for everyone, and you can always find a few games each week with lines that look tasty.
And I see you have identified a few.

Anyway, 3BB is a very good time!

Morning walk with Mrs. Mikey - done
Farmers market - done
Costco - done
Petco - done

88 seems like a highly motivated person.

Just sat down to watch the fourth quarter of Texas / Michigan and…wtf? 88 must be pretty happy about this.

Making progress on new terrace outside the living and family rooms. I’m hoping it will be done by Sunday next week for Mrs. Mikey’s birthday party. They said it will be, but we’ll see. It got up to 106 here yesterday and it’s 100 right now.

These guys do amazing work cutting and setting these pavers. This is how they put together the corners on the raised beds.

4 pounds gumbo crabs, 6 pounds shrimp, 3 pounds crab fingers, 2 pounds lump crab meat. Gumbo is tomorrow night, so there has been a lot of chopping today. Making the stock now, so far so good.

It got up to 111.6 here today. Definitely the hottest I’ve seen since we moved here in 1999. Hell I should have just stayed in Henderson. It’s supposed be down to 79 high on Wednesday. We’ll see.

Just like Mikey to do things backwards. Nice work on the back 40 of his premises, but the front of his pad still looks all

This is closer than you might think. But here in LoCal we can live outdoors for most of the year. At least when it's not fucking 111 deg F like yesterday.
