Last summer I almost worked on a guy's Mustang GT500. He had custom exhaust dump valves installed so when he was at the track he could open the pipes completely. They are mounted right below the seats and dump raw exhaust ahead of the catalytic converters. The passenger side had come off and his OL was not enjoying. I could see why. Even at idle it was so loud we couldn't have a conversation next to the car and they couldn't run the air conditioner because it sucked exhaust into the cabin.

They were on a road trip with 5 hours to go. From the look on her face I could tell it was his idea to take the Mustang instead of her Mercedes or whatever.

She was a tall, fancy woman in flowing white pants. The kind that never wrinkle. He was a high powered executive type that was obviouly accustomed to getting his own way by force or persuasion. He was telling me how exactly this needed to be fixed, how easy it was going to be, why it shouldn't take long, and how critical it was to get it exactly perfectly right. In my experience, It Needs to be Perfect, and It Can be Done Quickly are strangers who've never met.

He wasn't polite. He didn't appreciate that he was inconveniencing my schedule. He gave off a cloying stench of entitlement. Like I should be honored to work on his fancy car.

I told them don't do custom tuning and sent them on their way. These are the worst types of customers. They cannot be satisfied at any price, and then complain about the price, or the time to repair, or the fingerprints on the fender. Not interested.

The point of the story is that I know this insufferable douche is watching the GTD and eating his own liver while his wife gives him DON'T EVEN ASK glares from across the room, lol
Ain't nothin' like the real thing, baby.

Where is Pitbull when you need him? Here you go Sam.

Cool video. Car will be about $325,000. I think I'd be scared to drive it.
