Greg Abbott always managed to play politics...does token efforts to appease his conservative base and looked the other way most of the time until he had to do something to save his job. Not surprising if he let this type activity occur.

Suing them is a joke, just lawyers fucking lying in court back and forth and wasting more tax dollars. Just put out a notice for them to self deport. Then a week later send in ICE bus them up and head to the border.
