No. I started her up, my screen went black like the game was about to start, I heard a click from my monitor and then it dropped me back to my desktop. Does it every time.
Maybe it's my two and a half year old video card. I don't even actually know if I have a video card.
I'm thinking that it might be best if I just wait for the XBox 360 to come out and then pay some 15 year old $30 to hook it up to the internet. I used to understand technology...a little...years ago...

congrats on the baby, bro..Rack Fu wrote:My copy came yesterday. I haven't been able to play it yet since I now have a three day old baby.
I thought the preorders came with a free headset? Where's my headset? Stupid fucks.
My BF2 gamer tag is Zero_File. Fear my M4.
a lot of people had issues with getting their headset when they ordered online...a lot more were ordered than EA expected...i ordered in-store and got the headset at that time, it's pretty cheap anyways..you're not missing out on much.

I still would have gone this route--Rack Fu wrote:It performs just fine and it's nice to have all the keys labeled specifically for the game. I'm happy with it.David_Copperfield wrote:honestly? It's better than a regular keyboard?Rack Fu wrote:Works fine for me.
How's the kid? Getting much free time to play?

if I were to get a pad for this game, that would be it...but my keyboard is just fine...the only other thing I use is my SideWinder Force Feedback joystick for flying the helicopters and jets.jiminphilly wrote:Rack Fu wrote: I still would have gone this route--

Kid is doing great. Thanks for asking. I've been able to play a little bit but not too much.jiminphilly wrote:I still would have gone this route--Rack Fu wrote:It performs just fine and it's nice to have all the keys labeled specifically for the game. The Nostromo would be like learning to ride a bike again.
