big ccr fan. if I want to listen to ccr, I'll listen to ccr. no need to listen to a knock off or a "greatest hits friedly" abridged version of grapevine.

My li'l ol' Palestinian FOB father used to listen to CCR overseas when he was younger. He got me listening to them when I was a child. I've always appreciated them and think they are one of the best bands around.

That link is cool. Although still miss Fogherty. He made the band so unique, IMO.

John Fogerty had/has one of the greatest, most distinctive voices in rock music. I feel dirty just for opening this thread.

For fans of the REAL CCR looking for something fresh, check out Fogerty's first post-CCR project, The Blue Ridge Rangers. It's all old-school country/honky-tonk covers. Awesome album. You'll thank me later...
