Two Shows in Three Nights

Post by ElvisMonster »

Sunday night I caught Lyle Lovett & His Large Band at the Orpheum. Epic. Two hours and fortyfive minutes. Country to Texas-Swing to Jazz. He covered a lot of ground. Great show.

Last night it was They Might Be Giants at the Pagent. What a cool place to see a show. TMBG is always a party, but the opening act, Corn Mo, was teh suXX0rz. Dude was like if Meatloaf had been hit in the head with a bat and given an accordian. UnWAR. Although the shit he said between songs was pretty funny.

Taking the wife to see Duran Duran on the 22nd. No, fuck YOU.

Saw TMBG last year. Quelle deece. I only paid $5 for TMBG and Death Cab.

T&P on the Duran Duran thing, though. Unwar. I think I'd opt for a divorce, instead.

It's the five original members. Simon, Nick, John, Andy, and Roger. Three Taylors, a LeBon, and a Rhodes. No, you shut up!

Now, I can name their names --

Jerry, Phil, Bob, Bill, Mickey, and whichever keyboardist was alive at the time. I think Brent had the longest tenure. Pigpen was the man. Bruce Hornsby jammed like a mofo.

So, yeah -- I was a Head.

Or, is your music slang not very good? A Head is apparently not what you think it is. Occasionally what you were refering to is called a "head."

No caps.
