RACK Ben Crane

Post by Dinsdale »

The Northwesterners are taking over up in this beyotch.

Dude even finished his Sunday round before dark, a rare feat that I have to attribute to having a very large check waiting for him.

Fear the Beavertonian.

I was wondering when Dins would wake up today. Good job by Crane. Maybe now he can work on finishing a round in under 7 hours. Not that he's slow or anything, but the last time he played a glacier asked to play through.

Let's not get carried away here.

And of course in the prognostication contest, nobody has to have their official pick in until Monday evening, but I think all the regulars in this forum know who my Thursday morning pick would have been, had I actually made one.

His 7 hour rounds can be atrributed to his fond love of the "green"ery. Anyways, rack Ben Crane and Dins' loyalty to the lucky bastard.

So I make the turn yesterday at about 1 o'clock and the tournament is on the clubhouse TV. I glance up at the tv to try and pick some scores up. I see this pasty white guy walking down the fairway but think nothing more about it. So I'm waiting for my refreshments when all of a sudden a group of people watching the tv start counting........4........5.........6.

I glance over at the tables filled with counting people and note all are intently staring at the tv, I look up and the aforenoted pasty white guy is doing his best Sergio imitation waggling the club. Everytime he wags the club, people count. The count got up to 21---21 club waggles before the guy pulls the trigger. Finally hits the shot which ends up about 20 feet from the pin. Immediately following the shot, everybody starts discussing how anybody on a course could take so many club waggles. Of course, the pasty white player in question is Ben Crane.

He doesn't have to beat anybody, he just bores them to death.

Sorry Dins, but watching that guy play is tantamount to chewing a ball of aluminum foil.

I think I'd have to say something if I played with the guy.

Don't get me wrong -- if dude wasn't the Beaverton homie, I'd be making fun of him mercilessly.
